Agent Wilson followed the man in the long coat. The agent walked slowly keeping an eye on him so that the man wouldn't know that someone was following him. The man used the emergency staircase to go down. This made Agent Wilson even more suspicious of him. Making sure that no one saw him the man went out of the hospital and stood under a tree beside the hospital. Agent Wilson hid behind a bush and looked at him. The man looked at a crow, which sat on a branch of the tree."Did you really think I won't recognize you?" asked the man in the long coat.The crow flew and landed in front of the man, but it was no longer a crow. It was almost midnight and there was pin-drop silence in most of the streets of Roseville. The recent murders scared the residents and most of the residents have stopped going out of their homes at night. An hour passed and soon it looked like the whole town had finally fallen asleep. There was no movement of anything or anybody, except for one car. "So my grandparents were hunters?" Emma asked her mother, Helina Smith.Mrs Smith had spent nearly three hours telling about her childhood to her daughter. Emma's paternal and maternal grandparents were hunters who killed vampires and werewolves. She recalled the first time she saw a vampire was the first time she met Emma's father. Mrs Helina Smith also told Emma about the ways they worked. They would live a normal life until weekends. Everyone would gather at a large house somewhere in the city and target the vampire's they need to kill. They would keep all the children below twelve in one separate room. The teenagers were taken to completely another place for training on these weekends. The teenagers who had important exams were taken to another house along with a couple of other well-trained hunters. 

After eating breakfast, Emma left for school along with her father and Nancy. Mr Smith decided to get Nancy checked by another doctor. So he decided to drop Emma at school and took Nancy to another hospital away from Roseville. The journey to school wasn't that quiet even though Nancy closed her eyes and slept in the car. Cold air blew over a huge bat as it flew in the sky. The bat landed on a branch of a huge tree, behind a grey building of a school. The huge grey building of the Roseville High School stood in the middle surrounded by grass and metal fence. Several trees and large, sprawling shrubs filled the grass, behind the school. The bat looked at the classes it could see from its view.The bat could clearly watch many students, through the windows. The bat's eyes looked around for a while and finally found Emma sitting in a class on the third floor. Though she didn't sit very close to the window, she was still quite visible to the bat. It flew around the school's building and spotted an empty classroom which was just above the third floor.
