 The Atla kingdom might be my most favorite place in this world. If it weren't for the fact that there's a virus named King Corona.The kingdom itself was underwater - obviously. Ace and I must have bickered longer than we thought because where we're standing right now is the seafloor. I looked up and saw the same huge magical barrier that separated us from the water. Tall coral reefs lined the place and were constantly being rained down with water. Large domes made out of sand and rocks lined with moss seem all have a large shell in front of them - are those their homes? One would assume that since we are deep in the sea that it would be dark but no. Multiple glowing jellyfish - enclosed in a circular bubble - are constantly swimming in the area and giving us more than enough light to see our surroundings.

 "The King is dead!" Someone yelled.The fighting seemed to stop. Or more like it was over. I looked around us to see that most of the men were down. Some were dried up and shivering as Custard ate what seemed like smoke. The more Custard ate, the more energized felt. Is their essence actually giving me back my used up magic?As I continued to wonder, I was suddenly engulfed in an embrace. "You're okay!" Ren cried. "I was so worried when Nora told us that you were facing a dangerous man and that Ace is hurt." As soon as the words left his mouth he paused from hugging me. "Wait, where is he?""It's PRINCE!" Ace grunted, still kicking the body of the dead king. With his good hand, he pointed the dagger at him. "You better keep that in mind if you want to live."

 I was sitting on the lunch table and listened to their conversation. We didn’t have our early morning training today since I don’t have a wooden version of the sword that I am supposed to practice with. Also, I do not have enough magic/mana/power left to even practice my wolf voodoo.“It’s hard to believe that The kingdom of Alta, were involved in a trade with the Tereau.” The Queen, my aunt, said. “It makes me wonder how they were able to reach out to them. The kingdom of Atla never mingles with land dwellers like us.”“That’s hard to believe?” I said with a mouthful of meat. “You should see PRINCE Ace in a dress yesterday. It was very disturbing and fascinating at the same time.”

 "Nate?" I asked in concern as I placed a hand on his shoulder. We looked at the ghost. He was still in front of us. His eyes looked hurt when he saw Nate looking at him with fear and disbelief."Rose, he just said son!" Nate was breathing heavily now."Are you sure he was talking about you and not me?" I didn't know why I said that. All I was just thinking about was to comfort Nate. But it did work, in a stupid sort of way, because Nate looked down at me like I was stupid."Rose, he said ‘son’. Not daughter."I pouted. At least he was not shivering anymore. "I knew that." I replied with a grumbled and crossed my arms over my chest. But the moment that Nate and I lost contact with each other, Nate suddenly vanished. I briefly panicked and looked

 I remembered nothing. The last thing I remembered was accompanying Nate in that horrible dream. I saw Nate's father dying. His real father that is. And I figured out the person that loomed over Terrence just before the dream stopped. It was a Nymph. The same Nymph that my ancestor handed the wooden chalice to and I know that I have to tell them. The sooner the better.But the moment I woke up, my body was dead. By that I meant that my body would not move. A doctor came in and told me that I was temporarily paralyzed because I completely exhausted my magic. My aunt and the king were there looking worried but relieved that I was going to recover in a few days. Most that I actually did was sleep. I really wanted to tell them, but the most that I actually did when I'm awake was eat. Maids would pamper me in and out. I may be out of it but I could still hear a few conversations but I couldn't tell
