I slowly blinked my eyes opened, ‘Where am I? What happened?’ It was so dark; I could barely see anything. I tried to move, only to realize that my feet and arms were chained up. “W-What!?” panicking, I attempted to stretch out my wings, but they were bound too. Struggling, my chains rattled and scraped against cold stone, creating a huge racket. The last thing I remember was going out with my team to investigate some rumors about the demon lord. It was said he was planning an attack and soon. Then, when we were on our way back, I vaguely remember that something pricked me in

(Gabe p.o.v) (Back to present day) Faith and I were great friends when we were kids. My dad provided us with a way to stay in contact and still play despite her being a princess. I was so glad that my father used to be the head of the royal guard. In fact, it wasn’t long before Titus joined the castle guard and then the royal guard. But that wasn’t my reason for joining the guard. I did not want to be like my brother or dad. But it was really tempting to do so. The city was amazing. Nothing I’ve seen at home before.

(Gabe POV) URG! I feel as though I’ve swept this shop for the millionth time today! Azz still hasn’t told me squat on anything! I rely on Ralph for most of, if not all, the information! Not only that, but they have me working day and night to clean the shop, so I’ve got nothing done on finding a way back home!I sighed; it has been two weeks now since I came here. I have hardly interacted with anyone besides Ralph and Azz. I see Arthur occasionally, but he’s too scared to share a word with me. Azz has basically put a ban on me leaving the building because of some unknown reason. How much boring can It get? That’s when I felt it: anger. I felt more anger than I ever felt before in my lifetime. That’s when I threw the br
