FORTY-ONE

KRIS: Two years later Drops of a cold liquid splashed on my face, waking me from my slumber. What the hell? I groaned out loud. I opened my eyes to see a grinning Violet towering above me. I glared at her. "What was that for?" I asked, frowning. "It's almost 7:am and today is your first day at work. You don't wanna be late do you?" She asked, raising her brows. "Urghhh...I'll start tomorrow". I groaned covering myself with the comforter.

FORTY-TWO

LUCIAN: Her eyes found mine. Shock registered on her face but as soon as it had come, hate and anger took over. "What. are. you. doing. here?" She asked, the anger evident in her voice. Audible gasps left the mouth of the other employees. "Aren't you being a little too rude to your boss?" I smirked. I'd known that she was the new intern but then riling her up a little wouldn't be harmful. "You can't be serious Lucian". She barked out a laugh. At her use of my name, our audience's eyes widened.

FORTY-THREE

KRIS: I stomped out of the building with eyes fixed on me. The bastard always makes me a center of attention whenever he's within. I hopped into my car and zoomed away as fast as I could. Violet pounced on me the minute I stepped into the house, tripping us to the ground. "Ouuuch". I groaned but she was giggling hysterically. Picking herself from the ground, she pulled me up with my outstretched arm. And...here we go…" How was it?""Is he really that hot

FORTY-FIVE

KRIS: "Good morning". I greeted Dean, blowing him a kiss as I sauntered past him to my desk. He caught it and grinned back cheekily. I got to the position of my desk but was greeted by an empty space. My gaze travelled around the large room to see if it might have been moved to another spot but I found no empty table. "Umm...Dean?" I called out to him.  "Yeah," "Did you see anyone take my desk out? I can't find it". I turned towards him. "Nope. You should ask Adrain. He might know something about it". He shrugged, returning his attention back to his computer screen.

FORTY-SIX

KRIS: I felt a sense of Deja Vu. He lifted his head, his dark eyes meeting mine. There was so much intensity in them, I gulped involuntarily. My eyes wandered down and I swallowed. He was wearing a double pocket short sleeved button-down that hugged him tightly with the first three buttons undone, revealing his tattooed chest. The exposed part of his arms were also covered in tatts. My gaze travelled back to his face. Strands of his hair were on his face. I licked my lips at the sight. His eyes never left me.  He was sinfully beautiful. The towel covering my

FORTY-SEVEN

KRIS:I woke up on a hard and warm body, with an arm wound tightly around my waist.Mmm… A girl should wake up this way every morning...  Waking up next to Tyler was almost the best feeling in the world.  Eyes still closed, I stretched an arm over his taut washboard abs, letting out a contented sigh. With a smile etched on my face, I opened my eyes but I wasn't expecting what I saw. A tattooed chest. Huh, Tyler doesn't have tattoos. Or he got a new one?

FORTY-EIGHT

KRIS: It was a week from Thanksgiving so I returned home to spend time with my mom. Call it a break from my crumbling life. I got out of my car and walked towards the front door, pulling my suitcase behind me. Getting to the door, I tried the handle and it was opened so I let myself in. "Mom! I'm home". I called, getting into the living room. "Ohh Baby!!". She ran from the kitchen, barreling into me. I chuckled, embracing her tightly. Sometimes she made me feel like I was the mom with her ever jolly attitude. God. I've missed her. I though

FORTY-NINE

KRIS: "Honey, wake up". Mom tapped me gently. I groaned in frustration, pulling the covers tightly against me. "Mom let me sleep". I muttered, eyes still closed. "No baby. This is the third time you're napping today. Are you sure you're fine?". She asked and I felt my bed dipped. "I'm okay mom". I replied.  Sleeping was one thing I did a lot so it was totally normal to me. "You've been sleeping a lot lately". She pressed a hand to my head to feel my temperature. "Mom, I'm fine". I replied

FIFTY

KRIS: The sound of footsteps heading to my room brought me back to reality. Not wanting whoever it was to see my tears streaked face, I dashed into the bathroom to wash my face. "Kris, I'm back baby". Violet screeched.  She just returned from her parents place where she'd gone for Thanksgiving. I'd returned immediately after Thanksgiving, not wanting to spend an extra day so I could figure out my life. I didn't want my mom getting worried. "Kris?". She called, entering my room just as I exited the bathroom. "Yeah baby". I smiled, striding towards her. "I missed you". I got to her, throwing my arms around her.&nb
