All Chapters of Angel: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

KRIS Life wasn't normal without Lucian. Though I'd known him for only a short while, I got used to always having him around him that I felt so weird and different due to his absence. I hadn't seen nor spoken to him since the last time we fought and I didn't plan on talking to him any time soon.  Most times I want to take back what I said and call him back but then, He needed to know what he did was wrong and apologize. And as for Jake, he showed up at my place and practically dragged me out with him. Since Lucian was gone, I was left with Jake.

KRIS: I walked out of the bathroom to see Lucian on my bed. His eyes were closed and he was exhaling softly.  He must be sleeping, I concluded.  Deciding to join him, I walked towards the edge of the bed but just then, my stomach rumbled. Oppps! I need me some food.  Shuffling out of the room and down the stairs, I walked into the kitchen where I got snacks from the fridge and sat on a kitchen stool, ready to devour them. I was happily munching on the oreos till I felt eyes on me.Looking up I saw Lucian staring at me with an amused look. "Ooh…

KRIS: After the redhead scampered out of the room, Lucian wrapped his arms around me tightly, resting his chin on my head. "I'll never hurt you intentionally". He whispered. Okay. So that wasn't intentional but I still wanted to know what happened. "Who is she?". I asked softly though my heart was beating wildly for the fear of his answer. He exhaled before answering "One of Val's friends". What the hell? "What was she doing on your bed?" I pulled away from his hold and stared at him intently. 

KRIS: It's been two months since I last saw Lucian. It was as if all traces of him and Valentine disappeared into thin air. I'd almost convinced myself that they never existed and his episode in my life was just a dream. I even thought he was an angel so maybe he's gone back to wherever angels reside. I'd gone to his house countless times but each time, the place was always locked. I'd also called but was never  able to reach him. The only indications that he was truly in my life, were the silver chain with a diamond heart shaped pendant that he gave me on my birthday which was always around my neck, the sketch of him I somehow framed that's on my nightstand and his shirt that I always wore to bed. 

LUCIAN: I got out of the bathroom freshly showered to see her curled up on the bed, facing the wall away from me. I watched her for a moment but she didn't move, with her hair on her face. Walking towards her, I got on the bed and pulled her on my chest. I stared at her but she still wouldn't look at me or even try to acknowledge my presence. "Babe... look at me". I coerced but she still wouldn't bulge. Sighing, I flipped us over so she was lying on her back and I was hovering over her. She shut her eyes so as to not see me. But I wasn't about to let her be.  I lowered my head and kissed her hard. At first, she didn't respond
