*Coffee Time

Kirou was currently making his way through the busy streets to head home. On his face was a refreshing smile as he thought about the events that took place during the previous night, as well as this morning. 'Though it has been a while, that went pretty well. Then again, I never expected Jane to be that enthusiastic during the entire ordeal. I must have flipped a switch in her during the fight.' The smile on Kirou's face grew even wider as he thought this, prompting a few people in the surroundings to be looking at him with peculiar gazes. Kirou ignored their stares as he continued his trip to the subway. It was around 11 when Kirou arrived at the subway station. Instead of taking the subway home right away, he stopped by a cafe nearby for a drink. While within the cafe, Kirou finally allowed the smile on his face to fade away as he enjoyed a cup of Blue Mountain Coffee. While the coffee was a bit strong, Kirou found himself liking the Jamai

Invitations to the Beast Continent

It was roughly after three in the afternoon when Kirou finally returned home. He didn't immediately return home but instead went around town, looking for some stuff. After spending a few hours on this, Kirou finally managed to find what he was looking for and returned home. When Kirou entered his apartment, the first thing he did was unpack his stuff in his living room before heading to the bathroom for a shower. Roughly twenty minutes later, Kirou was now sitting on his couch while a few spools of wire, each of differing widths, were sitting on the small table before him. Just like he's able to do in the game with his pickpocket skill, Kirou can also make use of Mana Control outside of the game. The only drawback is that he currently had no way of testing just how much energy is in his body and how much he's allowed to use comfortably. Unlike within Immortal Era where he's given an upper limit on mana, he has no such convenience in reality so he has to fumble h

Teleport Gates

After fleeing from Bladesmith's cottage, Kirou now found himself somewhere in the middle of Elderwood Village. Taking a few seconds to look around his surroundings, he recognized that he was now near the General Store Manager, Almia's cottage. Since he hasn't visited her in a while and he still had half an hour to kill, Kirou entered the store and was greeted by the sight of Almia sitting behind her usual counter, with a cookbook in her hand. Upon hearing the door open, Almia looked up from her cookbook to see Kirou walking into her store. This prompted the woman to smile before speaking, "Ara ara, young one. To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" "Hello, Manager Almia. I was just in the area and was wondering if I could borrow your kitchen for a bit." Kirou approached the counter as he said this. Almia looked at Kirou for a bit with a peculiar gaze before speaking, "Sure. I have no problems with that, young one.

Asking a Favor and Complicated Relationships

The trio was currently more than a few kilometers away from Thousand Wood Village. To make sure that their conversation was private, they even entered the secret underwater entrance for the <Riverbed Cove Dungeon> which they cleared earlier that week to ensure that no one would be able to eavesdrop on their conversation without revealing their presence. Kirou took note of the lengths they were willing to go to to keep this conversation from being overheard. Granted, Kirou already had a layer of security up with his shadow clone but seeing them doing this put a smile on his face as it showed that they are aware of the dangers around them, even if it's just a small amount. "Now that we don't have to worry about any annoying pests stalking and overhearing us, I'd like to formally make this request, Kirou. Would you be able to provide a demonstration of your harvesting abilities to members of our guild tomorrow?" When Navi asked this, she

Inconspicuous Cave

After finally managing to escape the chase of the two elven women, Kirou was currently roaming the outer edges of the Thousand Wood Forest. Beneath his body was a two-meter tall, four-meter long black wolf with blood-red eyes. This was the mount that Kirou obtained for completing his part of the <Traces of the Dark Continent> quest. Kirou himself was quite surprised when he saw the kind of mount he obtained from the random mount token he received. Mount: Blood Shadow Wolf (Rare)Mount Species: Shadow WolfMount Type: Combat MountMount Requirement: Level 15Mount Speed: +180%Skills: Shadow Movement, Feral Roar (Active), Intimidation Stare (Passive), Blood Tracking (Passive) Going over the stats of his mount, Kirou couldn't stop himself from thinking that the game was kind of biased towards him. This wasn't the first time that he obtained something random from the system that fits his exact skill set.

Taking Down the Psychedelic Jellyfish King

Kirou hadn't even managed to cross five meters before he was greeted by a huge jellyfish tentacle rushing towards him with deadly intent. Just as the tentacle was about to slam into his body, Kirou used the force of a charged shot from his gunblade tonfa to narrowly dodge it by pushing him to the right of the tentacle. This resulted in him narrowly dodging the attack but sustaining slight damage from the dregs of stones that flew up from the crash site of the tentacle. Slightly shocked, Kirou made sure to keep his guard up while rushing to the main body of the giant jellyfish. That earlier attack gave him an estimate on the strength of the monster and now he only needed to confirm it with his eyes. The giant jellyfish was angry at the fact that Kirou had dodged its tentacle. While staring at the young werewolf, the jellyfish attacked with two more tentacles while simultaneously ordering the Stone Axe Minotaur through its newly established mi

This record has been recorded in Immortal Era's History Books. Player ***** has been rewarded Fame +800, 300 gold, rare treasure chest.> The two messages were repeated three times throughout the entire server, causing a few players paying attention to wonder what kind of boss it was. While the system was announcing the first kill for the jellyfish king, Kirou only glanced at the rewards before turning his attention back to the task at hand. Kirou had other things to focus on presently instead of paying attention to the people talking on the world chat or looking at the treasure c

'A Shipment of Coal in the Middle of Winter'

After walking Mistaken Fox safely to the entrance of the cave and seeing him off, Kirou returned to the Underground Cavern. Before him stood an area of roughly a hundred or so square meters of land. Where the land ended, water began and this was a vast underground lake that led out to the sea, if the reflection of the moon at the very edge of the lake is anything to go by. Kirou stared at all of this and knew that he found the perfect place to set up his base, but he didn't start doing anything as of yet. First of all, while there was no monster present, this area was still within hostile territory. If it was the real world then Kirou wouldn't mind setting up shop as is since he would be able to set up defenses from both man and creature alike. Unfortunately for him, this was a game and the only way he could make full use of this entire area was if he claimed the area as his own. After opening the official website using the in-game menu and

Testing the Security System

After finally waking from his trance, Kirou spent the next half an hour listening to Old Copper talk about certain rare metals that can be found in the area of his secret base, along with those that can be found within the Beast Continent and how to treat them. Following this, Kirou was then teleported to SC Pier City. Arriving at the entrance of SC Pier City, Kirou didn't enter but instead went to a secluded area, summoned out his Blood Shadow Wolf and made his way towards the underground cavern roughly twenty kilometers away. Along the way, Kirou passed by many players, whether intentionally or unintentionally on their part and just flew by them on his wolf while many of the players he passed by looked at his retreating figure in jealousy. Around half an hour into the trip, Kirou noticed that he was being tailed by a group of players. He had met this group sometime after he had just left the city and had thought that they were just another

Gaining an Informant

Situated in the large underground cavern where he fought the psychedelic jellyfish king, Kirou was now sitting before the tied-up gnome thief next to the lake. The duo has been there for over twenty minutes now but Kirou has said nothing during this time while the gnome thief was currently examining his surroundings. At first, the gnome thief was terrified of what Kirou would do to him and wanted nothing more than to make a hasty escape. Unfortunately for him, however, was that he was already bound by Kirou's wires. Even worse, since Kirou had managed to tie him up with said wires without managing to inflict any damage to his character, the system treated the gnome thief similar to how all players are treated while in safe zones, locked out from their offensive skills and at the mercy of anyone who wasn't. After the duo had entered the large cavern, Kirou placed the gnome thief next to the lake before disappearing for a minute or two. When h
