Her days in the cell had put Lois in a reflective mood. She at first was mad that she had been caught. Lois never would have suspected that Owen Gates would betray her in this way. Now, all she had to look forward to was her daughter's disappointment and Rick's looks of disdain. She realised that she would never have the life that she firmly believed she deserved. At this time, five days had past, and no one had been to talk to her. Lois had only her guards to talk to, and they were not very talkative. She was fed three meals a day, and she had water available at any time. There were personal hygiene facilities in the cell, although she had very little privacy. All in all, she was miserable, more so than she had ever been in her life. That afternoon, Lois was lead out of her cell and taken to a conferencee room.
