Vanessa unconsciously found herself on the second floor of the Matthews mansion doing some cleaning inspections. She froze when she saw Henry Matthews coming her way. He was all dressed up for work. They hadn't been in touch since the night he stormed out of her room. They hadn't crossed paths either. All she knew was that he had been locked up in his room for two days now. She had wanted to reach out to him to know how he was doing but she couldn't. Not because of his mother's rule but because he was angry at her. Vanessa Maddox spent her day doing her chores. Once Eve and Logan Matthews had had their dinner, Vee stayed a while with Matilda in the kitchen. She assisted in doing the dishes, they also made random conversations in between. When they were done, Vee proceeded to her room. She spent a while on the phone talking to her parents and siblings. She made a mental note to seek permission from Eve for a weekend off so she could go visit her parents; either this weekend or next. Once Vee ended the call, She proceeded to take a shower and then called it a night.

Saturdays in the Matthews home were no different from every other day of the week. The only difference was that the families were prone to staying indoors. Laurel would only be found at home during the weekend if she was not on duty.
