"I am sorry to hear that." Faith mumbled apologetically. It must have been so hard on Luna Rita as a daughter to have her own father try to sabotage her life. The wound may have healed on the suface but the gash on her heat must be still painful. Luna Rita shook her head, smiling bitterly, "You don't have to apologise. He met the end he deserved. Let's talk about you. Alpha Rigie said you are his Beta's sister." Faith's excitement peaked and she hurriedly answered, "Yes! My eldest brother is the Beta of our pack. The blue eyes appeared in the night like shining sapphires. Peony jumped on her hind legs and almost howled in happiness to be let out like this. Faith internally scolded herself for keeping her wolf in all the time. After all they were all animals and confining then was not the most ideal thing.    Peony ran a lap around the ginormous estate and yipped happily with faith reminding her to keep it low from time to time. The night was freezing cold but peony loved it. Her silvery fur brushed against the wind and reminded Faith of the ice rink.    After running for a while peony fell tired and cosied up her furry body against a large tree. Faith was a bit embarrassed by her Wolf's tiny amount of stamina so she changed into her human form and creeped back towards the window. The little pebble was holding the tiny gap so Faith stuck a finger into the gap and opened the window effortlessly.    Faith fell back on

"We should have gone to their park as well. Alpha prime has made all the arrangement for new people. There is so much to see here." Gia enthusiastically said.  "Yes that's true but we don't have enough time for that. At least not today. Let's go back for now." Rita said and took them back to the car. Their bags were stuffed into the trunk. Faith sat at the back with Rita and Gia sat at the front. It was a very harmonious environment.  The car ride was filled with chatter and interesting talks about between Luna Gia and Luna Rita. They kept talking about their packs and what else was new. Faith listened attentively and made small comments from time to time. Collecting additional information about something wasn't a bad thing afterall.  When they came back to into the estate, Faith felt very tired. Shopping continuously for hours wasn't that easy. She wasn't wearing heels but feet ached and her shoulders might as well just drop to the ground. She

The Gala was going to start at exact seven in the evening. Before that everyone was supposed to gather at the main hall. Faith had no clue what happened at the gala every year so she was going in blindly. There was an anticipation in her heart when she got into her dress.  The red dress fit her perfectly and hugged her curves to show off her fingure. The two Lunas also got into their dress soon and they were ready to go to the main hall.  "The pair has to go together." Luna Rita said, "Did you inform Alpha Rigie that you are getting ready here? He can pick you up from here itself then."  Faith nodded, "I did tell him."  She had mentioned it to him the day before but didn't know if he remembered. Faith had a complicated relationship with each one of her family members. There were too many of them and neither treated her well enough to actually be called a family. Dea, despite being their mother,  especially treated Faith as if she was not a part of them. There were so many things faith wanted to change about her family. Especially at times like these when all of them gathered around to interrogate her. It made her feel suffocated and anxious. She was mildly afraid, and sometimes horrified with the way Dea treated her if she said something wrong. "How was the Gala?" Dea asked. Faith stood in front of the family in the living room and recited everything that happened. She changed up a few thing, like the fact that she truly enjoyed herself with the Luna's. She made it seem like she had to go along with them because she didn't want to disturb Alpha Rigie. Other than that everything else was kept the same. Win
