It’s been three days since Jared was rushed to the hospital.  He made the first 24 hours and they are going to let him start waking up today.  Shawn let us know that he will probably be confused at first so as not to bombard him with a lot right away.  Kade and I decided that we will have Shawn call us when he thinks that Jared is coherent enough to talk with.  As bad as we want to talk to him we also don’t want to cause more problems with his recovery.  I still couldn’t get the image of him lying in that hospital bed out of my head.  I had called his brother when Kade and I had gotten home to let him know what had happened.  He, unfortunately, was over in Europe on business and couldn’t get back that fast.  I told him I would keep him posted.  I had just stepped off the elevator at Luke’s work.  I nodded at his secretary and walked into his office.
