The night was dark and only the blue light illuminated my room because sleeping without light was almost impossible to me. I tossed and turned on the bed, finding it very hard to sleep. The crickets chirped and my clock ticked.I reached a hand to my phone on my side table and jeez! It was fifty minutes after eleven. I was awake and it wasn't a movie or a midnight snack. My stomach grumbled at the thought of a snack. I kicked my blankets off and slid on my flip flops.I walked down the stairs, while yawning and rubbing my eyes. My feet took me to the kitchen.
