Chapter 51

I laid in bed on my sides, watching as lightening illuminated my room and a thunder clap followed after I did a count down from ten to one. The rain fell pitter patter on my ceiling and matched the beating of my scared heart.  Why was I scared? A whole lot of things were on my mind. First thing was Maya leaving me for England and me having to deal with my problems alone.  I sighed and faced my ceiling with my hands interlocked on my chest. Could my life get any worse? Another lightening flash accompanied by an angry thunder clap shook the house and made me jerk. If only Tristan was here to sing the thunder buddy song with me. Who was I kidding? He was probably on his bed, sleeping and snoring as loud as a cow.  Suddenly, I fe

Chapter 52

I rested my back on the bench that was beside the principal's office and tapped my fingers impatiently on it, waiting for Andre to come out from the place I dreaded. I hated going to the principal's office, my reputation was something I never wanted to spoil. Well, the dare thing tarnished my image already.  I crossed one leg over the other and glanced around with my lips pursed. The principal was a quiet man, but had this 'don't mess with me' aura around him. I could hear voices in the office and it seemed like they had summoned their parents.  I held my head in my hands and maybe this rebound thing was a bad idea. My conscience judged me everyday for wanting to use someone to give me happiness without thinking about his feelings.  The sound of the door pulling open jerked me back into reality

Maya and I laid lazily on my couch, watching Ted over and over again till we became tired. Most of the time, Tristan and the thunder buddy song raced through my thoughts. I hadn't been seeing much of him since he saved me from taking a blow.I grabbed the remote and changed the channel to Nickelodeon. My eyes brightened when I saw SpongeBob on screen. Even if I was eighteen, SpongeBob was definitely a cartoon I'd never stop watching. How could anyone be like SpongeBob? He was very annoying and didn't know when to quit, but I still loved him."Did I tell you Tristan came over one rainy day?" I broke the silence, turning my head to face Maya."Nope. He did?" She frowned her face and met my gaze.I sighed and laid upside down on the chair with my hair all over the place."Yeah and he wasn't bad of a company." I stated, trying not to let the fact that Maya would be leaving tomorrow weigh me do

Chapter 54

My emotions were all over the place when I reached Tristan's house. I faced the door with both my hands shoved in my pocket before taking a deep breath and pulling one hand out to rap on the door–there was no response. I rapped the second time and still got nothing so I decided to let myself in. Hopefully, Tristan wouldn't kill me for this. "Tristan?" I called, shutting the door behind me.  I took a gander at the gigantic place and wondered how Tristan stayed alone in a house this huge. His parents were usually busy and I figured they went on business trips a lot so he must be really fearless.  Slowly, I climbed up the stairs with my eyes wondering around the place. What if a ghost should appear in front of me? Boy! I would faint. "Tri

Lola upraised her head in a dull manner and her Amber eyes lingered on my face before dropping to my shoes."Hi?" I repeated, waving my hand in front of her face and squatting beside her."Hi." Dry toned Lola who focused solely on her chips and ketchup."May I join you?""What do you want from me?" She snapped as if she was slightly irritated."I just want to be friends." I sat beside her and tilted my head, admiring her rich chocolate hair."You saw my nudes and you want to ask if I'd like to be a pornstar or a call girl right?" She asked without raising her head from her tray."What?" I scrunched up my face gazed forward. "No, way. Have they been asking you that?""A lot. Some boys even hit me up on Instagram, asking me to send them nudes and wherever I pass, I hear them gossiping about me." She rubbed her face with one hand in frustrati

Chapter 56

"Settle down, minions!" Miss Judy exclaimed, marching into the class with an ugly handbag that was the color of my poop. "Sit upright y'all!" She banged her fist on the desk and we all jerked, fixing our eyes on her. "No talking, no sleeping, no laughing and no bathroom breaks!" She exclaimed and I frowned my face, wondering why she was yelling when we weren't deaf. "Miss Judy." We all groaned at the mention of no bathroom breaks. "Silence!" She glared at us and sat on her chair. "No breathing if possible." She muttered. "But miss Judy what if I need to-" "Did you just speak in my class without asking for permission?" She dramatically took off her glasses and got to her feet. "I'm sorry." I muttered and raised my hand up for permission. "Good." She wore her glasses back and sat elegantly on her chair. "Yes, Miss Parker. You may speak."I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and spoke. "What if I need to use the restroom?" "Tell somebody to lay on the floor so you could pee in the

Chapter 57

I sat between Lola and Andre on a couch that was in the centre of a very huge hall that had teenagers dancing and screaming for joy. Andre had his arm around my shoulder and I tried my possible best not seem like I disliked the way he held me even if it was innocent. Lola was a typical wall flower because she clung on to my body and stared in horror at the people playing flip the cup. Was this her first party or something? "I'll be right back." Andre whispered in my ears. He got to his feet and vanished into the crowd of sweaty teens. The disco light changed into several colors and my mind named them as usual. Loud music boomed from the speakers and drinks were flying in every corner.A boy in a black shirt and blue jeans approached us with a friendly expression on his face. He seemed a little shy because he scratched his hair like a thousand times before parting his lips to speak. "Would you-" he hesitated and adjusted his shirt before mustering a small shaky smile. "May I have th

Chapter 58

"Andre..." I trailed off, not knowing what to concentrate on.  The room was going in circles and my stomach was tying itself in knots, giving me a kind of nausea feeling.  Andre refused to acknowledge the fact that I didn't want his fingers going up my panties. I tried to push him off, but he was too strong for me.  "Andre, stop." I shook internally as Andre pinned me down to bed and trailed wet kisses down my chest.  He pushed out my boobs from my bra and sucked on it. I felt plain, there was no volcano erupting in my stomach and I seriously needed to end this.  Andre transferred both my hands in one of his and used the other hand to trail down my thighs, reaching for

Chapter 59

"I should be asking you that." She rolled her eyes and sounded funny because of the brush in her mouth.  "What do you mean by that?" I bumped my brows together in a frown more confused than I was when I woke up in Tristan's room.  "I live here and you ditched me at the party." She folded her arms against her chest. "So if you'd excuse me, I'd like to finish preparing for school." Just as she turned to leave, I held her arm with glossy eyes. "I'm sorry I ditched you, it wasn't my intention and I so do not know what happened to me because I woke up somewhere strange. I need help and that's why I came here to see my father's new wife." "Your father?" She frowned and stepped aside. "Come in."

Chapter 60

"Tristan!" I yelled with both my hands on the sides of my mouth. "I know you're in there, just let me in... I'm sorry!"There was no answer so I searched the area for a stone. I saw one just three steps away from me so I went to pick it up and swung my arms forward, launching the stone out of my hand. It flew and landed on Tristan's window before dropping to the ground.Picking four more into my hand, I threw them one after the other and the last one I threw, made Tristan shove the curtain aside. Our eyes locked and he glared at me for a minute before drawing his curtain shut."Tristan, please." I pleaded, feeling weak again. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I need help and I've been feeling off these days. I'm so lonely and the little issue in my-" I stopped in my tracks and rephrased my sentence. "There's a lot happening and I feel so heavy. When I woke up I couldn't remember anything...I'm sorry!" I yelled with a dried throat.I picked three stones and threw the first. The second
