The two little bastards have been scheming all along. I knew they were up to no good. Though I still don’t know why they chose me, maybe cause I’m apparently super easy to manipulate, I don’t know. Bottom line is they have got to be stopped and we cannot let them put those rings on anyone. Jason and I sit in silence as we sip our coffees, both racking our brains for ideas. My mind swirls with possibilities, each one more complicated than the last. 

Scott hasn't come home since last night. Jason and his brothers came over to keep me company and Incase Scott came back. Jason ensures me that the ring probably landed in the streets and we probably won't see it again. I really hope that is true because If it gets into the wrong hand sit could be a catastrophe. A big one. Later that day one of the royal messengers rode through the village on a brown mare, decorated in the royal colors, screaming through my megaphone. "There will be a royal rally in the town square in honor of the king," he bellows. His voice ricocheting off the brick building

The sight before us is not what I expected. Samson, Cornelius' brother is laying on his back on the bed, being straddled by a blond girl with a very pale complexion and brown eyes that look like the image of innocents. Her mouth works hungrily on his, his hands are grasping her waiste apunder her shirts and she really seems to be enjoying herself. I don't know how but they haven't seemed to have heard us come in yet. Judging by Jason's reaction I take it that the blond is Delia. I'm not going to lie, I'm glad that she has her tongue down someone other than Jason's throat. Maybe she has alread

After a tearful reunion we all sit at the dining room table and eat lunch which consists of roasted chicken, salad and baked potatoes. The three siblings have been talking non stop and refuse to leave each other's sides which isn't great for an interrogation. I really need to get her alone so I can ask her some questions without her brothers getting defensive. 

Sprinting in the direction of the yell I run down a couple of passages until I hear another scream and it's getting louder. It doesn't sound like Knight or Scott if I'm being honest. I'm super confused. I turn a corner to spot Samson pinned up against a wall by Knight. "Where is Scott?" Knight snarls in his face as he presses a knife to his throat.
