Though I still don’t know why they chose me, maybe cause I’m apparently super easy to manipulate, I don’t know. Bottom line is they have got to be stopped and we cannot let them put those rings on anyone. Jason and I sit in silence as we sip our coffees, both racking our brains for ideas. My mind swirls with possibilities, each one more complicated than the last.

I must've fallen asleep on Jason's chest because I wake up to a weird sensation. For a moment I feel like all the heat and life has been sucked out of the world.
