“Rachel, go, do your make-up. She doesn’t need anymore!” Leana yelled at Rachel as she tried to add eyeshadow.“Mom, it’s fine. She barely has any. The only thing I did was her eyes. I did a smoky eye; I am just putting in a little silver to add some depth.” Rachel rolled her eyes at her mother.“Thank you, everyone. I feel so loved.” I smiled at all of them. There was a pain in my heart. Someone was missing, a small part of me wanted my mother here, but even more, I wanted my twin. She was missing this, and I felt guilty for living without her. I know that’s silly, but it still felt off.
