Chapter 20

'He was just a bully in name. His heart was as soft as an infant.'  **** Ethan... I had never seen her so startled before. She was surreally diving between anger and frustration after she soaked in the environment around her. Her teary eyes were enough to push me in the puddle of guilt and self embarrassment. I never saw Ava so sad and disturbed before. The way she had bobbed her head in disgust, it was enough for to know that I crossed a whole lot of barricades that! "What is wrong Ethan? Your glass is full!" Selena asked me.  I quickly flashed a smile on my face and drank the entire content of the glass, "Now happy!" and winked at her before she noticed my inner disturbance.  "Hmm, that's fine though. I thought you were not well or something! I hope I am wrong." She threw her weight on me while I sat on the stool

Chapter 21

'Nobody would listen to your bothered thoughts but your mother even if you try your best to hide them.'   ****Ethan POV... Applying the brakes, I halted the car across the fence of my house, The Connor's Mansion. I wanted to live in an apartment, by paying for it out of my own money, but my father the great Principal of my school refused it. He was not ready to see me leaving the house and renting an apartment for he thought I would only spoil my nights partying with friends and skip school the next morning. This would continue and before any real damage could harm me, I would damage my own life with my stupid decision and foolishness. My father is a great man. That is true I love to mess around and pull up troubles on others however I aspire to become a nice man like my father. "Hii, honey..." It was my mom who opened the door of the house for me.

Chapter 22

'It was his mom who helped him become a nice person.'  ****(Ethan POV) "That sounds awful, right." Mom giggled. "You know i was in high school myself when I decided to tell my parents about me, they were not very strict, so I was sure they would approve my relationship, but I was wrong.. I have told you everything before this, I don't have to repeat it for you, do I?" Her fingers massaged my scalp as she paused looking in the front particularly nowhere in the mid air. My mother shared every instance of her life with me. She believed if I knew her experiences than I would be a better person in my life. Above all, she told me the truth of her life after she learned what have I been up to in the school.  I have always been like this, a troublesome child who loved attention. Bullying my classmates and finding pleasure out of their tears was my ultimate goal in life as it was fun. It sti

Chapter 23

'Everytime he attempted to lie, she caught him!'  ****(Ava's POV)  The morning hushed in after a long wait, I was under a thin blanket of slumber leaving my mind conscious while my body rested in the veil of the night. I quickly looked at the clock across my bed and jumped out with excitement.  The day was here, I never felt as excited to go to school like this before! Above all I never thought I would wait for the night to end so I could get ready and leave for school. I don't have school but I hate waking up early in the morning. But today's beginning of the day was special. And I was curious to run out of my house and head to school, I wanted to see the bully Ethan Connor!  "Hmm, someone looks very happy today, anything specific that I should know as your brother?" I narrowed my eyes, glaring at my brother amidst a defeated sigh.  Like any othe

Chapter 24

'I love when he is jealous.' ****  Noah's POV She is stubborn. Why won't she be, she is my sister after all! She grew up seeing me. I have left bad impressions on her. That sounds awful yet I can't help but smile on her antics. "I am sorry, Ava." I stared her back as she entered the gate of the school. She is sweet and innocent. My sister is not a tough type, she cannot fight. And I am scared that this world is a bit too much but I am sure, Ethan's company will be beneficial for her! That guy is all that my sister needs at the moment. He loves her and since that brute— better I don't talk about it. It is better if Ava has him. Ethan will keep her safe. Any ways, letting out a sigh I ignited the engine to leave. I have to go and buy flowers for my darling. No sooner I started the car than, "Freak!!!" Dylan, Ava's best friend st

Chapter 25

'A day out with him was everything it needed' ****  Dylan's POV "Please not now, let the right time cone." I insisted Noah.  He sighed rolling his eyes frustratingly as this was not the first time I was stopping him from telling his sister.  "But why Dylan? Don't you think your best friend deserves to know that her brother is dating her childhood buddy?" He questioned me where I can only look below at my fingers.  Yes, we are childhood friends. And as a matter of fact, I know her better than anyone in this world. Not Noah himself knows Ava better than me. She is his sister but I know how and what Ava would react if she would get to know that her brother and best friend were gay! "Uh, obviously I want her to know. Do you think I am liking this! No, I am not. I want her to know that we are in a relationship, but

Chapter 26

No one's POV "Ethan!" Ava blinked her eyes, she carefully scanned his stance resting on her bed as he winked an eye and raised his brows. His arms were under his head above the pillow, a leg crossed over the other and the rain shield on the other side dumped carelessly on her bed. It rained in the morning when Ava left the house with her brother. It must be the same time when Ethan found a chance and sneaked inside her room. And stupid her! She did not even lock the window before leaving the room. She will have to be careful from now on. Her body froze and the bag dropped on the floor after she loosened the grip around it. That is because Ava consumed her entire energy in reading his facial expressions. She still could not trust her retina. This had to be her freaking hallucination since she had been wondering about him ever since she rose from her slumber. Ethan, o

Chapter 27

The morning hushed in with the welcoming noise of light raining. Noah opened his and stretched his arms. He smiled looking at the face of his boyfriend Dylan, sleeping beside him as he got up. Last night was amazing. It was the best night of their lives. They enjoyed every bit of the moment together and had good sleep together. They reminisced some childhood memories and joked on each other's appearance as a kid. "Dylan, wake up!" Noah slid out of the bed looking at the watch. It was past the afternoon. They actually went to bed somewhere around 3.00 in the early morning! They have been so crazily snoring that they could not keep a track of time. Ava must be waiting for Noah's arrival. Ever since yesterday morning, they never talked. "Dylan!" Noah sternly addressed his name, Dylan was not ready to get up. He needed to go. And before leaving, he wanted

Chapter 28

Noah watched his sister enjoy the cartoon. She was still a baby for him, she proved that she indeed was. He leaned toward her and placed his chin on her shoulder, "What?" She raised a brow narrowing her eyes.  "How was it with Ethan, last night?" Her question caused her to stare back at him with a stern face.  He was a shameless guy for a brother. Who asks his sister that question?  "Huh, are you kidding me, Noah!" Ava asked, moving away from him.  "No I am not! I am curious, Ava. That guy really loves you, I hope you did not misbehave with him." His amusing words left her chuckle sardonically with a tinge of blush appearing on her face.  From the expression on her face, it was visible it was an amazing night. Oh no, they did not do anything 'ahem' kind of stuff! The two of them had a good night talking about each other's favor

Chapter 29

Noah's POV "I would straight come to the point, why have you been lingering around my house?" We were sitting in the hall, face to face. Despite being mysterious with his actions, Bill offered me some coffee and cookies against my refusal. I was baffled and thrilled by his behaviour. He was acting so nicely like he really respected me but my heart can sense something was wrong. I kept aside the coffee mug, untouched. I am grateful for his treatment but I don't trust him. Who knows if he mixed something in the coffee! Something like sleeping pills or any other drugs. I just can't take the risk of consuming anything offered by him. Not after I know his intentions do not seem positive at all. "Why so hurry, brother? Have some cookies first." He ignored the seriousness playing in every word I stated, and passed the plate of cookies toward me. He was cool.
