"Why would she?" My father gently brushed away Brenda's tears, which fell quite easily. "Rina said she likes you."

"Is that true?" Brenda looked up at him. She looked so devastatingly beautiful with that slightly sad look on her face.

"Of course." My father was smiling, but his eyes remained cold. He nodded. "Besides, you like Rina a lot too, don't you?"

Brenda did not notice anything unusual with my father. She held my father's arm intimately. "Rina is a beautiful and adorable young girl. Who wouldn't like her?"

"Good." My father smiled even brighter. He took the white chrysanthemums, which were mainly seen at funerals, from his assistant. "Well, how about if I sent you to her?"

"Huh? What?" Brenda was taken aback to see the flowers.

The guests were aghast as well.

Meanwhile, my father's assistant led a few people to bring in huge reddish-brown flower pots. The strong stench of blood made some of the guests retch.
