I turned around and saw that Alfred and several household helpers were too scared to look at the corpse, let alone clean it up.

One of the maids asked, "Alfred, what should we do? I'm too scared to touch it."

Alfred sighed, removed his white gloves, and threw them onto the ground. "I quit. Take care."

When he said that, the others also decided to leave.

After all, there was a corpse lying here. They were only household helpers, not forensics. Disposing of a corpse was not within their job scope. Besides, many of them had just seen my corpse.
