CHAPTER 2

"MOMMY!" a little girl hurriedly ran like a tornado when I got out from my car. She's wearing her cute bunny sleepwear while having a piece of cookie in her right hand.

I sat on my knees then spread my arms to welcome her.

"Hello there popcorn! hmm...I miss you!" I sniffed her hair as she buried her face in the crook of my neck.

"My mommy!I miss you more!" she happily exclaimed. She scoop my face with her tiny hands then planted kisses in it.

I chuckled then carried her up in my arms, walking inside the house.

"Where's dada and mama?" I asked her slightly parting my mouth when she shove me the cookie.

"They're in the kitchen mama... preparing for the desert,"

The maids bowed down as we walk past them.

"Hey mom!" I blurted when I saw my mother putting the cookies on the crystalized plate.

She walked towards me and hugged me tightly with popcorn between us.

"Hey baby! I miss you!"

"Mama you're squeezing me po." popcorn blurted adorably. We both laughed at her remarks as I decided to put her down on the chair and get a piece of cookie.

"Where's dad?" I asked as I took a bite on the cookie and munched it elegantly.

"Present!" I turned around to see my dad descending in the stairs. I walked towards him...hugged him then kissed his cheeks.

"Hi dad! I miss you!"

" I miss you too sweetheart. Let's take our seat..."

I take my seat beside my daughter and placed some foods in her plate.

"Sky!" mom suddenly called me

"Yes mom?" I looked at her curiously while pouring some wine on my glass.

"How are you doing in your school?" she asked looking at me with concern.

"Mom...I'm doing good, don't worry." I wiggled my brows convincing her.

"Are you sure sweetheart?" dad backed up

"Yes, dad. Anyways how's the company?" I asked, cause recently I have heard about the commotion that happened inside the building.

"It's doing good sweetheart. The problem's already been settled." he smiled at me and then meaningfully looked at mom.

"oh right. Do you have a boyfriend na ba sky?" she asked that made me nearly choked on the wine.

"MOM! That's absurd. It's not in my mind yet!" I exclaimed placing the wine glass on the table.

"Hahahahah kidding honey. I cannot with your face." they both laughed at me.

" You're so weird mom dad, I think you forgot to take your medicine." I eyed them doubtfully

They both just laughed at my remarks.

"Oh btw honey! Your daddy and I will be attending a conference overseas. We will be bringing Famscedy with us...and you will be handling the company for the mean time."

"Okay mom. No problem...when?"

"Next week honey. "

I just nod and wiped the smudge of food in my daughter's mouth. She's my treasure...I treat her like she's my own. She was 4 years old when I saw her in the orphanage. We are a consistent donor in The Lady of Mercy Orphanage, where I saw Famscedy being carried by a nun while crying.. She's being bullied for having Heterochromia. I also have Heterochromia, but I just covered the right eye for the better. I have blue in my left side and green on the other. I don't care what others will say but my parents suggested to cover the other side with contacts...so I just obliged. I was mesmerized by her cuteness and her adorable doings, so I adopted her, as I also wanted to support her. I was 18 that time so I can adopt legally...but because I am still studying and I cannot take her along with me... my mother asked me to let her stay in the house for the mean time. She's Famscedy Skyrim Mondemor, my 6 years old treasure.

After eating, my daughter hurriedly pulled my hand and take me to her room. She happily jumped on her bed... giggling.

"Mommy!Mommy! read a story book for me please," she pouted then get something on her rack. She gave me the book then laid down in the bed. I smiled then laid beside her. She hugged me immediately resting her head on my chest.

I heard her snores so I closed the book, then fixed her blanket. She looks so adorable. I kissed her forehead and closed my eyes.

"Mommy!Mommy! hurry...let's go na!" Famscedy cheerfully exclaimed, dragging me to the car. We're going to use the van, for less hustle. She sat beside me, while mom and dad is in front of us.

We arrived safely to the church. During the mass I noticed a familiar man looking at me in our opposite direction. I stared blankly at him. He have his eyes locked at me. He's not smiling, but you can see the hint of naughtiness in his eyes.

I rolled my eyes at him then face back to the priest. I never looked at his way again. After the mass we went to a restaurant nearby.

"Excuse me! I'm just going to the restroom." I politely stated clinging my shoulder bag in my arm. I bumped into someone, as cliche as it may sound...his hand made its way to encircle it on my waist. The first thing that I noticed is his manly perfume that filled my nostrils, then his broad chest. Damn. I wanna run my fingers, gently caressing it.

"I'm sorry! Are you okay?" a deep horse voice woke up my senses.

I immediately fixed my posture then look at him. This guy surely have ways to hurt shorty's neck, like me. I'm 5'8, tall enough for girls,but not for a 6'11 footer man like him.

"Yeah! Excuse me!" I simply said acting unaffected. I was about to turn my way back to our table, when he gently caught my hand. I feel some electric sensation but fight my urges to held back my hand, for him to not find it rude.

"Yes?"I asked feeling the lump in my throat

"You dropped your jaw s-" I eyed him angrily

"As far as I know my jaw is still intact in my mouth. And don't flatter yourself. You're not dashing enough to make me gawk. " he looked surprised, then lift his other hand, holding a shark toy.

I secretly scold myself for being so defensive. Embarrassing!

"I'm not flattering myself miss. I just wanna return your jaw shark, as the name was imprinted in the toy." I grabbed the toy then turn my back to him wishing the earth to swallow me because of embarrassment. How can I forget that I brought the toy with me. We bought this after the mass. Famscedy put it earlier in my sling bag,and because it doesn't fit fully in the bag, the bag remained open. Stupid Skyleigh!

"Anong nangyari nak?" dad curiously asked

I smiled and shove food in my mouth continuously. So embarrassing! They eyed me crazily, but didn't ask.

We spend our time together in the timezone, as we always do. When the darkness started to appear, I made my way to my condo.

I slumped on my couch thinking about my stupidity earlier. I wanted to scream, but it's a waste of energy. So I just doze myself to sleep.

I woke up still thinking about my embarrassment. How I wish we never cross our paths again. But I guess that wish will just remain as a wish, when the guy who I bumped yesterday is now in front of me, staring coldly at me. I'm doomed! Maybe he doesn't recognize me? I didn't thought that the world is just too small for us to be in the same university. He has companies with him. Earlier, when I stepped out in my car, a group of guys made its way out in the cars beside me. They caged my car in between. I don't know if it's coincidence or such. I just park randomly here, since it's the only nearby available space. I don't really mind them, but they're blocking my way. I eyed them uninterestedly.

"Excuse me!" I said as boredom strikes. Why do they have to block my way anyways. So boring!

"Bakit? Dadaan ka?" a mohawk hair guy stupidly asked.

"Obviously?" knitting my teeth, trying hard to control my temper. These guys are crazy!

"Whahahahahha panis ka pala Jul whahahahaha" a demonic satan laughed together with his other companies, aside from the guy I bumped yesterday and the mohawk hair guy.

"Tss. Idiots!" I rolled my eyes, walking back to my car.

"Hoi saan ka pupunta?" one of them shouted. I started the engine then stepped on the gas. They all looked shocked then hurriedly find their way to avoid being dead. Stupid creatures! I speed up and swiftly turn towards the field. I accelerated it then stopped midway that creates a pile of dust.

I waited for the dust to disappear then went out of my car, only to find the professors and the students looking at me...including the six idiots. I crossed my arms then looked at them boredly.

"What?" I disregardedly said. It's not my fault that I parked here though...they should blame those stupid idiots.

"Ms. Mondemor! To my office! NOW!" the headmaster shouted angrily. I glared at the idiots then followed the headmaster.

"Students go back to your class now!" I heard the teacher commanded

I sat on the visitors chair with an uninterested aura.

"Ano na naman ba ang pumasok sa utak mo, at nagkarera ka mag-isa sa field? Paano kung may nasagasaan ka?" he said with his brows almost meet.

"Did I bumped someone? None right? Besides, I'm a great driver." I humbly answered him.

He loudly tapped his hands on the table then looked at me with fire burning in his eyes. If looks can kill, then I will surely summon my shield here. Luckily, we're not in some cliche magic chuchu. But if he will continue knitting his forehead like that... I'm sure he'll be older than my parents. He's just a year older than me though.

"Ewan ko nalang talaga sayo Skyleigh Rocraeshia Mondemor. Hindi porket inaanak ka ni daddy ay papaboran na kita palagi."

"I didn't asked you to favor me though. tsk. If it isn't because of those idiots, I will peacefully arrived here at ease.Stupid morons!" I exclaimed irritatedly

"Sino ba yang sinasabi mo?" he asked curiously

"I don't know them!" he frustratedly caress his hair with his fingers

"What do I expect! Wala ka naman talagang kilala dito. Ni hindi mo nga matandaan ang pangalan ko kahit na palagi tayong nagkikita." he said acting disappointed

I folded my arms, and roamed my eyes in his office then a photo caught my attention. I stand up carelessly causing the chair to collapse, then pointed out the photo.

"That stupid morons! Are you friends with them? Then that makes you stupid too. Birds with the same feathers really flocks together. Huh!" I marched towards the doorway, but I heard him say-

"You really can't wait!" that I didn't mind. I went to the cafeteria to buy a snack. I haven't eaten my breakfast yet.

"A piece of sandwich, no cheese please...and a bottle of water. " I politely asked as I give her my card.

"I will pay!" a manly voice interrupted. Again? Do I look broke to them? I didn't spare whoever he is a glance.

"He will pay for whatever he's going to buy, but I'm paying for myself. I'm not broke." the cashier looked at the man behind me nervously and then glanced at me. She scoffed when she saw me glaring at her. She handed me my order then hurriedly get the card in my hand and swipe it...after she's done, she gave it back to me trembling. I turned my back to find myself a table, when I saw that the man is still standing behind me. I raised my brows to him. He's one of the morons earlier. He's eyeing me creepily with a grin in his face...as a response I rolled my eyes at him, then walked to the table I saw bumping his shoulder.

"HEY!" I heard him groaned, that I didn't paid attention.

I sat on the table near the glass window, then elegantly eat my order. I can feel blazing stares at me,but I'm too hungry to care.

I'm on my verge of eating my last piece, when someone comfortably sit in front of me. Thick Face! I can tell that he's a man, due to his manly perfume...I ignored him. I sip my water bottle, then put it back on the table with only a half left and pulled out the book that I'm currently reading. The thick Face man find himself comfortable watching me. My throat suddenly itches, so I looked at my water bottle, only to find it in the grip of the thick face sipping it straight from the bottle where I sipped earlier.

A dragged chair and a commotion echoed in the cafeteria that I didn't mind, cause I am thinking of ways to murder this man in front of me.

He innocently smiled at me that I find gross.

"Hehe nauhaw ako!" he scratched his head shyly.

"Indirect kiss noh?" he followed
