DREAMS COME TRUE

Ella wake up, it's 7pm already you are going to be late for work

Wendy yelled, pulling her friend from the bed

*Gosh! Wendy why did you have to wake me, it was getting to the most important part,

He was about to kiss me, Ella growled before sitting up on the bed,

You had that Same dream again? Wendy asked, sitting next to her friend and stroking her hair,

I  had that same dream again,but this his face was clearer,i saw his face,his figure and everything, oh Ella we were about to kiss before you woke me, Ella said dramatically,

It was just a dream Ella, Wendy Said stroking Ella's hair

Some people believe if you keep having a particular dream repeatedly, it means God is showing you your future and what ever happens to you in that dream happens to you in real life,

Ella said smiling to herself it then means I will meet the guy in my dreams one day oh my God! Wendy I can't wait Ella Said excitingly

Well you will definitely meet him,but you've got to prepare for work now wendy Said you are running late already,

Let sleep some more, wendy maybe I will finally et,to kiss him again this time,i will just sleep for five minutes, wake me up after five minutes Ella Said trying to go back to sleep

Get up already you silly girl, Wendy said dragging Ella away from the bed.

Just five minutes Ella Said, still trying to go back to bed.

I said get up! Wendy yelled,

Do you want to be jobless like me, do you have an idea what it takes to get a Job these days?

It's not like I work a multi million dollar company, Ella Said, I'm just a dry cleaner,why do i have to work my ass off,Ella asked dragging the bed sheets from wendy.

At leas that laundry work pays the bills Ella said, dragging the sheets from Ella, 

You better start getting prepared for work and forget about that dream man of yours.

He is not just my Dream man, Ella whined

"I believe I will meet him someday, and we will get

married and be together happily ever after."Ella said dramatically.

You know your problem? Wendy asked,

"You watch too much movies and it's beginning to affect your Psyche", 

"I know what I'm saying, Ella said looking really serious."

I'm been having this same dream repeatedly for weeks now, there has to be a meaning to it

I think I can interpret your dream, wendy suddenly said

"Really. You can"? Ella asked,raising an eye brow.

I think you have been single for too long, you you desperately need a man, that is why you keep seeing that man in your dream.

I can hook you up with one or two if you want, wendy Said.

Mrs hook up, Ella Said laughing,

"I can get a man on my own, you don't need to hook me up with any man, "

Ella said getting up from the bed.

"You can get a man on your own,

Yet you keep pushing away every eligible young men that comes your way" wendy whined

I just haven't gotten the right man, Ella said

What about Peter? Wendy asked

Peter! The guy from work?

"Yes, that guy seems to be a nice guy,he is cute,handsome rich and caring,why not give him a chance, Wendy Said.

"Hmmm, There is something about that Peter guy I don't like,there is something sinister about him,

He looks like one of those hit and run guys". Ella said.

There is something you don't like about every guy that comes your way, Wendy whined,

you better not push your future husband away, like most girls do,

and start moving from church to church looking for a husband when they get to their late thirties.

"Relationship expert Ella said laughing,why is your own husband?

"At least I have a man I call boyfriend, wendy Said.

"Having a boyfriend who doesn't called or care is same as not having a boyfriend." Ella said mockingly.

 "Better get up and prepare for work if you don't want a sack letter Waiting on your desk by the time you get to work, Wendy yelled at her.

I don't care what my boss,does I'm good at what I do,

my boss knows he can't get anyone who is as dedicated as I am in work so, he won't dare to sack me Ella boasted.

Nobody is irreplaceable,  Wendy warned, your boss won't exhitate to sack you if he wants Wendy said.

Okay ma'am Ella said, 

She goes to the bathroom, to take her bath.

"You spent almost an hour in the bathroom,wendy queried Ella,

when she came out of the bathroom

I had to wash up real clean, Ella replied,i have a feeling something good is going to happen to me today.

Guess what will happen to you if you don't hurry up and go to work? Wendy said.

What?

Ella said applying lotion on her body,

You are going to get a sack letter, wendy Said

I think I'm going to meet my Dream man today, Ella said smiling.

"Just get ready and go to work and stop with this dream man shit wendy Said, getting of the the kitchen.

I'm going to make breakfast she said,

Do you want me to fix something for you? Wendy asked.

Please do? I'm so hungry Ella replied.

It took Ella an hour and Thirty minutes to finally get ready for work, you she knew she was late and thought of calling her boss and lying to him that she was sick,but Wendy advised her not to,plus she had to go to work because she believed,she will get to meet her dream man today.

Ella froze when she saw her boss,stting on her desk, He was sitting on her desk with his head down, He must be busy with his phone, Ella thought "I will just sneak away and call to tell him I'm sick so I can't come to work, before he sees me" she thought.

 She was about to turn back and start heading home when her boss suddenly looked up and saw her.

Where do you think you are going to her boss asked

Making Ella to Stop, with her back facing him,

Answer me her boss yelled

Making Ella to turn around quickly

I.. .I was going to the store room to check if customers brought new clothes to be washed Ella stammered.

"You were going to check if customers brought new clothes to be washed,

whose responsibility is it to keep record of what comes in and out of this place? Her boss asked yelling.

Mine Ella,murmed

"So why are you going to the store to find out if we got new clothes to wash?her boss asked.

I... I Ella Stammered 

And why are you coming to work by this time? Her boss asked angrily

Traffic sir, I left home really early, but got stuck in traffic,that's why I'm late Ella lied

I can see you are tired of your Job, her boss asked angrily

No, I'm not sir, Ella murmured

This should be the last time, you will ever come late to work her boss said angrily, do you know how many customers we've lost because of you?, 

A customer came to pick up his clothes,but we couldn't give him clothes, Because you were not here with the record Qhk, he left angrily and swore never to patronize us again.Her boss said angrily

I'm sorry sir, it won't happen again,Ella pleaded

"Sorry will not bring back our customer, her boss said angrily we've lost a very good customer because of You."

I will deliver his clothes Ella said, I will take it to his house right away,i will look up his address in our record and deliver it to him right away, Ella said

"Who will be in your desk, who  will cover up for you,

while you are away doing the delivery." Her boss asked.

"Iwill deliver it after work then Ella said,i will try to convince to continue patronizing us." Ella said softly

You better do that, her boss said tossing over, clothes to her,

Here, he said tossing over the clothes to her,these are customers clothes make sure you record,move to the laundry room to be washed, he said,

What's the name of the customer that came to pick up his clothes sir, Ella asked.

"His   name is hmmm Her boss said, crossing his mouth with his finger,  Michael Richard,he said.

Okay sir, I will check up his name and address in the record and deliver his clothes to him Ella said.

And don't forget to take the clothes I gave you to the laundry room to be washed, the owner will come pick them up by 4pm Her boss ordered.

I will do just that sir Ella said. 

She wrote down the name of the owner of the clothes after her boss left,  and took the clothes to the laundry room to be washed.
