Yvonne looked at the nanny in terror and quickly scrambled backward. What she said reminded Yvonne of her days in prison.

Right after she was sent to prison, everyone started bullying her. If the other inmates said her stuff was missing, no one would trust Yvonne no matter what she said. They would tear her clothes and make her give the items back.

Mariam watched Yvonne as she held her child and retreated in fear. She mused, 'Yvonne, once the princess of the Starrs and the school belle of Ashton University. She used to be beautiful and a valedictorian.'

They said Yvonne was a talented woman both in ballet and piano. She had more talent than Mariam, a product of elite education. Even though they were both Seaton socialites, Mariam was always overshadowed by Yvonne.

Mariam smirked. For some reason, she felt smug. Yvonne got into Ashton University of Seaton with top score, but during the summer of her junior year, she was ousted as a criminal and thrown into prison.
