10. What are you able to do for your freedom

"welcome to your celestial marriage" she said with a confident smile and then disappeared.

What did she mean by celestial marriage?

"What is that?"  I said letting go of her hand and looking confused into her eyes.

"Be kind, did you forget?"  He whispered in my ear, his low voice gave me goosebumps from head to toe, I kept looking at his big pairs of blue eyes, today they seemed to glow more "by now you'll know, come on " he gently took my hand and led me to a makeshift stage.

"All welcome to the Celestial Wedding ball, a ball where we celebrate and remember the vows of a vampire couple that gave rise to the beginnings of the mixed vampire community, tonight of a lunar eclipse a night like the one a vampire proved herself to be a human can turn into a vampire...let the party begin!"

A human can change into a vampire, is that true?  Well, I'm human, I mean was, or rather I'm not sure what a chalice is actually?  A long time ago I changed the day for the night, my wounds healed in the blink of an eye. Did I turn into... a vampire?

"You aren't a vampire" I looked at him in surprise, how did he guess what I'm thinking?  Does he read my mind?  I'm not being silly "and I don't read minds, that's not my power, it's just easy to read your face even wearing this mask" he said touching it I blushed at the time  "hahaha you had to see your face, won't you say nothing?"

"Which profession are they talking about?" I asked Alec, he changed slightly his expression looked thoughtful and worried about something, he rarely lets his worries show but I feel it, our bond is getting stronger and stronger, I can read his emotions, I can I feel.

He pulled me close to his ear and said.

Alec everything goes as a gypsy predicted for me years ago you'll know sooner than you think my dear chalice-you utter those words in your mouth made my heart race, it's been a while since I've heard you utter those words before these words imposed a situation of dominance where I felt used, now those words sounded different.

He was different, he behaved differently to me it doesn't even seem like last night...last night he made those scars on me, he looked furious, I didn't want to run away from him, I clung to him.

"Alec I wanted to say that...last night I wasn't running away, I mean I didn't want to run away from you I was trying to call..."

"Alec" someone interrupted me when I was trying to clarify everything, it was a woman with a seductive walk, with robes that depicted her beautiful body, she was blonde with honey eyes, she reached out and Alec kissed her "I didn't think of to see you so soon, it's so beautiful" she looked him up and down I rolled my eyes.

"You're more beautiful since the last time I saw you Anne" Seriously, are you going to compliment her in front of me?  I held back my anger and got out of there immediately.

I walked out of there bumping into several vampires in front of me until one of them grabbed my arm.

"Where are you going in such a hurry, beautiful?”  I looked back and saw a red haired man with green eyes, he was wearing a modern black suit, he was too handsome.

" let go of me" I managed to let go of his arm, turned to walk away but he took my arm again.

  "you came with this dress all low cut, it was obvious that you wanted to draw attention" his words made me sick, he thinks that just because he's beautiful he has to have everything that asshole guy wants.

" I didn't want to draw his attention, and if you thought that saying that I would fall at his feet, you're wrong, that speech was blunt try with someone easier" I let go of his hand again.

  "Seriously you're going to reject me?  I'm the most handsome guy you'll ever see in your life, I've never been rejected by anyone" he kept following me.

"it's being now" it seems that phrase pissed him off too much, he gripped my arm tighter.

" I always get what I want, I want you, and I will have you."

He pulled me into one of the rooms of this huge mansion the somber music still spread into this damp and dimly lit room, it had a skylight in the shape of a lotus flower that could see the sky perfectly, the sun and the moon almost together in Lunar eclipse night, I tried to pull my arm away but he held it so tightly I couldn't break free this time.

"why you brought me here let me go"

  "you're so beautiful" he came over and I immediately backed away "because you're running away from me I know you want it too, look at me, I must be the hottest guy you've ever slept with"

With every word, I felt more disgusted.

"I would never be with you, you disgust me" the words seemed to have a reverse effect for him, he seemed to be more excited.

I walked away from him until I reached the flat surface behind me. He came over and managed to grab me, kissed my neck the force I struggled in his arms, he then started to fiddle with his blazer almost taking it off.

" When it's over you'll thank me for giving you so much pleasure" having said that I kicked him in the middle of his legs, I tried to run away he grabbed me and pinned me to the wall.

  "Do you think you'll be able to get away from me like this?"  He sniffed my neck and then his eyes got brighter, he popped up his fangs and moved closer to me "you're human, I can feel it so it's more fun"

I pushed him away and pulled the stakeout from under my dress.

It was then that I saw in the back of the room the silhouette of another vampire, his pair of blue eyes glowing in the dark, the color of his eyes then changed.

In a single movement, the body of the vampire in front of me moved towards the other vampire, and then that vampire passed his hand across his abdomen.

The blood spread throughout the room and stained part of my mask and dress, the battered vampire fell motionless to the ground, this other vampire started walking towards me.

"Don't come close I'm not afraid to use it" I looked at him scared and afraid he'd try to do what the other one had tried, in this dimly lit place I could only look at his shadow, the skylight stretched all over this room helping to light up this dimly lit place, then this man took a step closer and I could see his face reflected in the moonlight, it was Alec, he came to me.

The vampire nature seized him, without taking his eyes off me licked his bloody hand, it didn't seem to be him, I raised the stake towards him, I was scared.

"Doesn't come close" I took a step back his expression turned serious he looked at me annoyed, he ripped the mask off my face making it fall to the ground, I held the stake with a trembling hand, he wiped my marched face from blood and then he took my hand and placed the stake in his neck.

"Are you afraid of me my dear chalice?"  He looked at me I could only look at his bloodstained lips, he brought the stake closer to his skin "Do you want to kill me?"  He uttered those words out loud, I got scared and after a while, my eyes filled with tears.

"I don't..."

"I saw you going through my locker and I saw you hiding that stake right in front of me, I wanted to know where you were going" I'm so sorry for that, so he made me stare at the moon and continued- can you see that moon?  When she joins the sun the connection is complete:
