Chapter 55: But yesterday...

Alexandra didn't know what was transpiring. She had been in Robert's room, aiding him.

Subsequently, she departed his cabin the following day to get water, she spotted Dominic, he was formally clothed. So also Thomas.

She ambled toward them and scrutinized them, then she noted they have luggage with them.

Were they traveling?

"Are you guys going somewhere?" She implored. Her orifices were drifting between the two.

Dominic didn't pester to glance at her as his face wielded nothing. But Thomas on the other hand became sheepish.

"It's not what you think, Lexi." He, therefore, scratches his neck.

"Then what is it?" She doubted. She was amassing an eerie sentiment about this.

She hadn't been nimble to peek at Dominic properly, visions of that night made her awkward.

"Dominic is retiring, and unfortunately, the boss of Priests specially invited me to follow Dominic."

Alexandra's head whirled. Her gazes promptly found Dominic's, but he wasn't looking in her direction.

"Ar— are you leaving?"
