Chapter 56: Little Ava

Nine years old Ava ran as fast as she could. Her breathing wasn't steady as the box she clutched in her hand trembled. It was nocturnal.

"Catch the wretch!"

Her heart neglected a beat, she didn't hinder her movement as she accelerated her pace.

Inside the box was a book. A book that wasn't supposed to be revealed or discovered.

Ava had discovered the book, she knows about the Ginnak and how hazardous there were.

But those women wanted to generate more Ginnaks.

"There she is!" A male voice said out.

Ava gulped as she caught sight of a male pointing his hand in her direction.

The male had silver shoulder-length hair and a small face. He didn't seem to be from here.

Hasting her pace, she sprinted. She wasn't sure where she was running to, but she needed to flee.

But her short legs weren't pushing to take her far. After she got to
