Chapter 62: "I am a psychopath, Dom,"

Dominic hooked Forsyth's hand and hoisted him into the air before slamming him to the ground.

*THUD*

Wiping his hands together, he stooped to Forsyth's level.

"I might not be as strong as Dominus anymore, but I once was Dominus. And one piece of advice; never tangle with the dead." He stepped on Forsyth before moving toward Marleen and yanked his coat.

"And," He paused and turned around. "I wasn't going to kill her, she might not be useful now, but she will be. Take care of her." With that, he disappeared.

Marleen promptly ran towards Forsyth.

"Are you okay?" She instantly raised his head and placed it on her lap. She quickly dabbed the line of blood crawling down Forsyth's head.

"I don't need your help." He shoved her hand away and sat up. "You don't look so surprised at all this, why?" He doubted. His eyes were peering Into hers.

The atmosphere that had lightened when Dominic left became thickened.
