SATURDAY'S ACTIVITY

CHAPTER 3

"Wake up, Sabrina." Padabog akong bumangon at sinamaan ng tingin si Eugenia. "Don't look at me like that. You're the one who asked me to wake you up." I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom to shower.

The school allowed us to wear anything we want which is good. I stop myself from drying my hair when my phone rings.

"Hello, Sabrina!" His voice sounds familiar. "Oh by the way, I am Ghon Yvo. The vice president of Supreme Student Government." Ah, siya yung nag interview sa akin.

"Yes, what do you need?" I asked.

"We have a meeting today and we are only waiting for you to start the meeting." What??!!

"Oh my gosh, wait for me. Give me 30 minutes."

"10 minutes,"

"20 minutes, Ghon."

"Fine,"

Fudge, kailan sila nag sabi na may meeting? "TAKEO, ARE YOU DONE?" I shouted. Nag mamadali akong pumunta sa sala at hinila palabas si Takeo. "Ihatid mo ako sa school. I only have 5 minutes left."

"Sakay," Tipid na utos niya sa akin. I rolled my eyes at umangkas. "Hold my waist." I did what he said.

After a while nakarating kami sa school at agad naman akong tumakbo para makaabot sa oras. "Bakit kasi hindi ako sinabihan ni Dwayne?! Nandoon naman siya kahapon. Kainis." Wika ko habang tumatakbo pa rin nang bigla akong matumba.

"Bakit hindi ka tumitingin sa dinanaan mo ha? Kilalanin mo binabangga mo miss." Inis kong tinulak yung lalaking naka bangga sa akin nang maka tayo ako.

"Well, fuck you!" I said and rolled my eyes.

When I arrived at the office they all looked at me. "What?" I asked and seat at my chair. Secretary. "Ngayon lang ba kayo naka kita ng maganda?" I asked again.

Habol ko ang hininga ko ng abutan ako ng bottle of water ng treasurer. "Thanks," I whisphered and winked at him. Agad naman siyang namula na ikinailing ko.

Talaga naman, baka Sabrina Evelyn Flores 'to.

The meeting finally started and the vice president, Ghon Yvo command me to take down notes about the meeting.

The activity for today is canceled kaya pala hindi naka bihis si Eugenia tsaka yung body guard kong koreanong hilaw. Hindi na naman ako updated. Nasaan ba phone ko?

"Quick update. Unfortunately, the activity planned for today is canceled. Sabrina Evelyn Flores is our new secretary. She took over after the former secretary retired." Dwayne said.

I heard someone whispered. Dapat lang daw na palitan si Francine kesyo wala naman daw ambag.

I don't think narinig yun ni Dwayne kasi kung oo baka nag wala na siya dito. The audacity of this girls to talk about his lablab.

"The principal decided to reschedule the activity for new students on Monday." Para pala doon yung activity.

"What activity can you suggest in order to welcome new students? Do you have any idea?" Dwayne asked.

Honestly as a new student wala akong bet na activity to welcome new students.

"How about a campus tour? We can assign SSG members to show the new students around and share interesting facts about different spots." Someone suggested. He is the Public Information Officer. Maganda idea mga 5 over 10. "By the way, Sabrina, I am Connor." I nodded and smiled at him.

Kinilig na naman.

"As a new student, Sabrina. Do you agree with that or tingin mo ba papatok yang activity sa new students?" Ghon asked me.

Nakakapanibago 'di pa rin ako kinakausap ni Dwayne.

"Well, malaki yung school and obviously sinong tao ang gugustuhin na mag libot sa school na pagka laki laki?" I said lazily. "The suggestion is actually good but I suggest na if you're going to add that to the activity on monday the school should provide Golf cart." Laglag ang panga nila dahil sa sinabi ko.

"Are you insane? Don't you know how much the golf cart is?" The peace officer asked hesterically.

"18 thousand, why?" She rolled her eyes. "Hindi ba afford?" I asked trying not to offend them. "I'll provide the golf cart na lang." I said while looking at my nails.

"What?! Nag bibiro ka ba? Almost 1000 students ang lumipat dito!" Kanina pa siya sigaw ng sigw ah.

"Bagay ka talaga maging peace officer, malakas boses." Saad ko na nagpatahimik sa kaniya. "Don't worry, I'm sure not all students wants to roam around." Tumango tango naman 'tong treasurer.

"Any activity suggestion other than that?" No one answered Dwayne. But I have something in my mind.

I raised my hand. "Go ahead," He said.

"How about setting up booths and having bands?" I said confidently.

"I agree," Ghon said while spinning his ballpen. Adik siguro 'to. "Nabubulok na music club, sign na 'to para umingay ang club." Ay may music club dito? Gusto ko sumali.

I whispered at Ghon. "Who's the president of music club?" I asked him.

I asked Hiroshi the treasurer to take down notes. Tinatamad ako eh, pumayag naman siya.

"None, no one wants to join music club." He whispered back.

Ang cruel nila sa music club. "I would like to join." Gulat siya tumingin sa akin. "What?" I asked feeling annoyed.

Ano tingin niya sa akin walang alam sa music?! Huh!

"First time lang kasi may nag ka interest na babae sa music club." Sabi niya.

Pwes sila yun, ibahin nila ako.

"What are you two talking about? Mind sharing it to everyone here?" Dwayne said.

May regla ba siya today? Sungit ah. "It's about music club." He nodded and continued talking.

I looked at my notebook that I give to Hiroshi. Dami niya ng nasulat.

Almost 3hrs meeting sakit sa likod. Base sa notes na binigay sa akin ni Hiroshi nag come up sila sa maraming booth. Pero mostly more on food ang booth. Drinks, milkshake, lemon juice, corndog, sandwhich at marami pa.

Buti na lang nag add sila ng cinema booth kung saan pwede silang manood ng movie.

"So, are you sure you want to be the president of music club?" I nodded at Ghon.

"Don't you trust me?" I asked.

"You don't have members." Panira talaga ng mood 'to.

"Edi tulungan mo akong mag hanap hindi yung kung ano ano sinabi mo." I rolled my eyes.

"Post it on our f******k group para aware sila." Padabog akong nauna mag lakad sa kaniya.

I can't accept the fact na wala man lang may gusto sa music club?!

I called my body guard na koreanong hilaw to fetch me, I don't have money with me. But when I try to get my phone wala akong nakuha. Naiwan ko ata sa office.

"Ghon—." Hala, wala na siya. Pasama sana ako, nevermind.

Bumalik ao sa office at agad nag tayuan ang balahibo ko sahil sa tahimik sa hallway. Kakayanin ko ba 'to? Yeah, I think so. Maaga pa naman.

I am not Sabrina Evelyn Flores for nothing. "Ahhhhh!" I shouted when I heard footsteps.

Dwayne came to me running. "What happened?" He asked. Wow, so now he cares.

"Nothing," I said. "Hi, Francine! Nag date kayo ano?" I said while smiling.

"Ha? Hindi ah." Mabilis niyang sagot. Nakita ko naman ang lungkot sa mata ni Dwayne. I need to do something.

"Ano ba kayo, 'wag kayong mahiya sa akin. Ako lang 'to, sus." Tumawa ng bahagya si freya at sinamaan naman ako ng tingin ni Dwayne. "Anyway, bagay kayo." I said and bid my good bye. Baka maka istorbo pa ako.

I can't feel or see the chemistry from them! Gosh, Dwayne is stressing me.

Shocks! Bakit umalis ako doon? Phone ko pala ang pinunta ko doon! Talaga naman.

I went back at the office and I heard someone shouting. "I told you, Dwayne. I don't like you!" Hala!

Paano ko kukunin phone ko nito?

"Kahit unting pagtingin lang Freya. Wala ba talaga?" Hearing his voice, I think he's pleading. "Mahal kita, Freya. Mahal na mahal."

I think I should leave na? Pero yung phone ko nga kasi!

"But I don't feel the same way!" Freya said.

"I don't care, I will win your heart and you can't do about it." Dwayne said then I heard the door open.

Mabilis akong tumago sa halaman na medyo mataas at nakita kong kumabas si Dwayne.

Kailangan ko ng pumasok habang nandiyan pa si Francine .

Act fool, Sabrina Evelyn Flores. "Omg, thank goodness you're still here!" I said to Francine. "May ginagawa ka ba? Hinahanap ko kasi phone ko and I think naiwan ko rito. So if you don't mind.." She nodded at me, and smiled awkwardly.
