CHAPTER 2

"Grabe, sab. You really meet Dwayne Dela Cruz?!" Ever since narinig niya mula sa bibig ko she didn't stop bothering me. "I can't believe it okay?"

I left her at the sala and proceed to my room.

"Sabrina, aalis ako ha!"

"Do whatever you want."

It's 5:30 in the afternoon and tomorrow which is saturday the school plan an activity. Everyone is required to join!!

It's supposed to be our rest day.

Someone knock on my door that caught my attention. I thought Eugene came somewhere? Who's knocking on my door?

As I was about to call a police when the person behind my door suddenly talk. "Are you there, Sabrina?" My forehead furrowed.

"DWAYNE?!" I shouted when I realize that the voice is from him. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Hmm, napadaan lang." He said while roaming his eyes.

"I'm serious, why are you here?" Paano siya nakapasok?

"May nakita kasi akong lalaki na papasok sa apartment mo kaya inunahan ko na." The fuck?!

"Thanks for telling me. You may now leave." I said, still feeling nervous.

"Are you sure?" He asked me feeling doubtful. I just rolled my eyes and didn't bother to answer. "Actually, the reason why I am here right now is because I have a good news." I looked at him boredly.

"What is it?" I asked while texting Eugene.

"You are now my new secretary!!" He said while smiling widely.

I didn't choose to be the secretary and the form that I fill up is for treasurer!

"I'm a bit sad though. The former secretary is my one and only, the star of my nigh-." I cut him off.

"Bitter mo naman. So Francine is the former secretary labag man sa loob ko but my vice president decided that you should be my secretary since the work is heavy for her." So pinasa sa akin?

I was about to answer when my phone rings.

"You okay, girl?" Eugenia asked.

"Yes, I'm just a little bit scared Eugene. Don't worry about me."

"Sorry, I'm busy kasi we have a project and pasahan na next week." She said. I also heard murmuring at the back.

"It's oki, my love. Take your time. When are you going home?" Should I ask mom for body guards?

"7:30 I guess?"

"I'll wait for you. Bye."

"Woah, you're not single?" Dwayne asked.

"Why? Do you have someone to offer and asked me on a date?" I asked without thinking twice.

"My friends are single. Pili ka lang." I don't like his friends. "Anyway, I need to go now. And don't forget that you still have one wish from me." .

"Reserve my wish."

"Aye, aye, captain." I shooed him hanggang sa makalabas siya sa door and locked it right after.

I called my mom to ask for a body guard.

"Hi, mom!" I greet her happily.

"Hi, sweetie. Long time no call ah. Do you miss mommy?" You don't know how much I miss you mom.

"Very much, mom. But it's okay I experience learning on my own."

"I'm sorry for choosing myself first before you."

"Mom, I already told you that it's okay. You don't have to worry about me. But, can I ask a favor?"

"Of course, sweetie.'

"Can I have a body guard? And please don't ask why."

"Hmm, na-ah tell me why first."

"Mom, my reason is nonsense. I don't have a boyfriend to carry my grocery shopping so I'm asking you for a bodyguard to help." Of course that's a lie.

"No problem, sweetie. Wait him there tomorrow morning, Bye, baby! Mommy love's you."

"Bye mom."

I have nothing to do now so when I ended that call I change my clothes and go to the park near our apartment.

I heard noise coming from the park. I quickly went there to see what's happening and there is a party.

As I was about to leave when a kid grab my hand. "Aren't you going to have fun with us po?" I pinched his cheek due to his cuteness.

"Nope." I smiled at him and pat his head.

"WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VISITOR!" He suddenly shouted.

A familiar person appear in front of me.

"Have fun with us! I am Michelle Cruz and we are classmate." I nodded my head. "Don't worry people are not going to eat you. Let's go?" I smiled awkwardly.

I'm not a fan of celebration.

"You will enjoy here." She said while giving me a paper plate.

"What are you all celebrating?" There are lightings.

"You really are beautiful, Sabrina. You look like an innocent girl adoring the scenery in front of you." I furrowed my forehead. Do I really look like a innocent kid?

"Yung celebration today is for those students na may awards this grading and I'm proud that I am one of those students who have a award." She looks so happy.

"Jerome!" Michelle suddenly called someone. "My classmate, Sabrina." She introduce me to him.

"I already know her." Jerome smirked at me. "Long time no see, eve."

I smiled akwardly. "H-hello?" I said nervously.

"You looked scared. Are you okay?" Michelle asked.

"Of course, I am." I replied.

Jerome is my stalker when I am in elementary and marami siyang ginawang masama sa akin!

"Doon ka na Jerome, pangit mo." Michelle said.

Michelle looked at me weirdly. "Are you sure that you're really okay?" She asked. I nodded at her.

Ever since my cousins bully me by giving me spoiled food, I became maarte when it comes to food.

"Michelle, masarap ba 'to?" I asked pointing at the spaghetti.

"Of course, it is!" I opened my mouth and she shoved the food.

I nodded slowly. "Masarap nga." I said. "Who cooked this?" I asked her while chewing the spaghetti.

"Si Jerome," I choked the food because of what she said.

"Hala, water!" She panicked and gave me the water when she found one. I ran as fast as I can at the park and go home.

"Eugenia?" I called her name while I'm outside her room.

"You're here na pala, Sabrina. Saan ka galing?" She asked me.

"At the park, may celebration doon." She looked at me weirdly.

"Nakikain ka?" She asked.

I didn't answer her at pumunta sa kusina para mag hanap ng food. "You didn't cook, Eugenia?"

"I thought kumain ka doon?" I sigh habang nakatingin sa lamesa.

"I'm about to eat spaghetti then I ask my classmate who cooked the food since it taste good but then she said si Jerome nag luto." I said.

"Nandito si Jerome?" She asked. I nodded my head. "Should we go back to manila?" I shook my head. "I thought you don't like it here? Sino yung rason, ikaw ha."

"Dami mong dada." Hahampasin niya sana ako ng tignan ko siya ng masama. "Go on, try me."

"Heh, kwento na." She command and sit at the couch.

"Food, Eugenia." She nodded and get her phone. "It's not because of someone kaya gusto kong umalis. I have position in SSG. I am the secretary." She hold her mouth due to her shock.

"Oh my gosh, I thought you hate being an officer? Well, I think because of you past. You are the ssg president but then students in our school aren't listening to you kasi raw babae ka." I was about to answer her when someone knock on the door. "Ako na." Eugenia said.

"Eugenia, ang tagal mo nam-?"

Dwayne, Jerome, and unfamiliar face.

Jerome pushed Eugenia and give me the flower which I throw at the floor. "Are you planning to kill me?!" I shouted he just laugh. The unfamiliar guy throw the flower outside.

"What do you need, Dwayne?" I asked feeling irritated. He just smiled. I sigh and ask the next guy. "How about you?" I asked him. He showed me his ID. "Ikaw na pala yung pinadala ni mom." He nodded.

"Ang pogi nila! Syempre maliban kay Jerome." She then rolled her eyes.

I open the door and shouted. "What?!" Ay gagi yung nag d-deliver ng food. "Ay hehe, ikaw pala yan kuya. Mag kano po lahat?"

"854 po m-ma'am." Kinalabit ko si Eugenia para mag bayad pero 'di ko siya makapa! Tinkbuhan pa ako ng gaga.

"Wait lang po ha." Kinuha ko ang wallet ko and gave him one thousand.

"Hey you!" Pag tawag ko sa body guard ko raw. "Hindi ba dapat bukas pa dating mo?" He nodded. Bakit ba hindi siya mg salita? "Bakit nandito ka na?" I asked.

"Your mom asked me to come early." He answered lazily.

"Who would want to talk to a person like you?" I asked.

After a while Jerome and Dwayne finally left.
