“Stop this! We are not here to fight. Ashley is here to help dad. Please, back off” Aaron spoke and gestured for the rest of his family to take steps back for his sister to start her ways to heal his father. “Please, the longer we delay, the harder it would be to pull dad back to life”

Ashley smiled weakly to her brother who she thought had grown up to be a wise man. She wondered what had happened to her baby brother who loved to cry on her shoulders when he got hurt.

Seeing her father looking pale and weak on the bed, Ashley felt sad. He was a strong man who was feared by many for his dominant traits. No one would dare to question his decisions as he would firmly ensure it was the best options. But that night, he was looking quite the opposite.
