Leah's Hidden Power

The wolf pack attacked Leah quickly. Luckily, Leah managed to avoid them. She deflected all the attacks and even attacked the wolves back.

"What a strong human," admired one of the wolves. He was overwhelmed by Leah.

"That girl is very dangerous. Her strength is no match for ours," another wolf replied.

"Who is that girl exactly?" They were amazed to see a superhuman like Leah.

"Give up! If you continue this fight, you'll all die at my hands," Leah threatened.

The wolf packs were frightened by the threat. They retreated slowly. They knew that Leah was no match for them.

"An ordinary human like you... it's impossible to have that superpower," said the bigger wolf.

Getting a question like that confused Leah. She herself didn't know why she had that power within her.

"Go away! If you don't leave and continue to bother me, I will not hesitate to kill you all," Leah ordered.

Finally, the wolf pack inevitably left Leah. After they left, Leah looked very weak. Her body felt very tired and she drooped on the ground. She lay with her head thrown back, looking up at the night sky.

The sound of the dogs barking no longer frightened Leah. Instead, she enjoyed it very much. On the night of the full moon, she watched herself undergo many changes.

"How strange. I suddenly have superpowers that I don't know where it comes from." Leah recalled the previous events.

"Paul, where are you right now? Why aren't you worried about me at all?" Leah was still talking to herself.

Suddenly, there was the sound of leaves around Leah. Her instincts kicked in immediately. Her sense of smell became very sensitive. She knew that the scent of the body was that of the person she had known all along.

"Paul... is that you?" Leah shouted. She immediately got up and looked behind her.

"Leah, why are you here? It's very dangerous here," Paul warned her. "Let's go home!" he urged.

Paul pulled Leah by the arm, leading her away from the forest. He was a little worried that Leah had dared to enter the forbidden forest. He hadn't expected her to go so far away from home and play in the forest, where the wolves were.

Paul told Leah to get into the car. "Get in, we'll talk about your problems at home."

"Yeah, okay!" Leah did as she was told.

Paul drove his car faster than usual. He felt he had to get away from that place immediately. He was a bit scared to stay in the forest any longer.

"What's wrong with your face? You look really scared, Paul," Leah guessed. When he occasionally turned his head towards his bodyguard's face.

"It's okay. It's late at night. I was just afraid something had happened to you," Paul denied.

"Really?" Leah was suspicious. She didn't trust Paul's word.

'It looks like Paul is hiding something from me,' Leah thought.

The next day, Leah sat at the dining table with her face scrunched up. She spread some jam on her bread and ate it quickly. It was a simple breakfast but it filled her stomach.

"Leah, finish your breakfast quickly! I'll take you to school," Paul said in a hurry.

"If you're busy with your work, you don't have to take me to school. I can go by taxi or school bus," Leah replied.

"No! From now on, I'll take you to and from school. Do you understand?" Paul ordered her firmly.

"Paul! I'm not a kid anymore. I'm an adult now." Leah felt constrained. She didn't like it when Paul thought of her as a child.

"Just because you're an adult, I have to really take care of you from now on. You can't wander around without my permission, like yesterday."

Leah grumbled softly. She didn't like Paul treating her like that. Even so, she was still obedient and affectionate to her bodyguard. She no longer dared to argue with him.

Leah stopped her steps for a moment. Her shoelace had come loose. As she was fixing her loose shoelace, Paul looked back. Paul thought that his foster daughter had not followed him.

"LEAH!" called Paul. He saw Leah adjusting her shoelaces.

"I'm coming!" said Leah. She made a little run for Paul's car.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the werewolves were talking about Leah. The most vocal wolf pack was still surprised. This was the first time an ordinary human had managed to make them lose badly and leave in fear.

"Wonder what kind of creature that girl is?" the werewolf asked his friends.

"Maybe she's a vampire," chimed in one of them.

"Vampires? Didn't their clan disappear in this forest?"

"There might still be descendants who haven't gone extinct."

"No way. If that girl was a vampire, she would have eaten us already."

While they were talking about Leah, Liam⸺the Alpha King of their group overheard. He was very interested in the story of the human girl who had superpowers.

"Who are you talking about?" Liam asked his wolf pack followers.

"It's... a girl. An ordinary human with superpowers who foiled our hunt last night," one of the werewolves said.

"A girl? An ordinary human?" Liam was getting more and more curious about the story. "Tell me more! I want to know about that girl."

Finally, the wolves recounted the action from last night with Leah to Liam. Leah's name now caught Liam's attention more and more. In fact, the Alpha king was eager to meet her.

"Liam, that girl seems very dangerous to our pack. Should we get rid of her immediately so as not to disturb our group?"

"No, not yet! I'd love to meet that girl." Apparently Liam had a different opinion from his followers.

"Find out about that girl right now!" Liam ordered.

"Okay! We'll be right back to report." The wolf packs immediately carried out the Alpha king's orders.

A few hours later, the wolves transformed into humans and wandered around Leah's school. It didn't take long before they found Leah at her school.

"There she is! The cute girl with superpowers," sneered one of the werewolves. He smiled rather sarcastically at his friends.

"Let's approach her and bring her to Liam. What do you guys think?"

"Good idea. Let's take her somewhere. A girl like her should be very approachable."

The werewolves immediately went into action. The five werewolves approached Leah, who was sitting on a bench in the schoolyard. However, before they approached Leah, Mike and his friends approached her first.

"Wait! She's with her friends right now. Let's see the situation first. When she's off guard, then we'll act."

"LEAH!" called Mike. "Aren't you going to go say sorry to me?"

"What did you say, I'm sorry to you?" sneered Leah. She wasn't happy that Mike kept bothering her.

"Even if you're a monster, I'll never be afraid of you," Mike challenged very boldly. He dared to say that because he had his friends behind him supporting him.

Leah smiled sarcastically in response. "You've got a lot of guts, Mike," she muttered under her breath.

"Come on, baby! Say sorry to me. That way I'll forgive you and assume yesterday will never happen to us again. What do you think?" Mike tried to wrap his arms around Leah's shoulders.

Leah's instincts quickly twisted Mike's arm until the man was in pain. "I told you, Mike. Don't ever try to get close to me again! Let alone tell me to say sorry to you. Don't expect me to. After you abused me. What a loser!" she taunted.

"Leah, let go! My hand hurts!" Mike whimpered in pain.

Leah's actions were witnessed by the five werewolves. They exchanged glances with each other. Leah was no ordinary human girl.

"It's time we intervened!" The werewolves approached Leah. After Mike left the girl.

"Hi! Your name is Leah, right?" One of the werewolves confirmed it directly to Leah.

"Yeah, what's up?" snapped Leah.

"Can you come with us? There's someone who wants to meet you."
