Episode 4: Five seconds please

I was so tired for the day after attending to a lot of patience and right now I'm going through my patience documents and accessing them when suddenly one of the hospital security officer that stays at my office door ran into my office panting 

“What's wrong?” I asked taking off my glasses

“Doctor, there's a woman out there and she had no appointment with you but she's forcing her way into your office and when we try to stop her, she threatens to write a petition against our hospital.

“And who is she?” I asked already calmly

“Uhhm….you might not know this doctor, but she's a very popular model in and out of this country and her husband is a multi-billionaire”

Immediately I heard the word model, I smirked cause I already knew who he was talking about.

“Let her in” 

“Ehhh….?” He asked in surprise and I nodded

“Don't worry, let her in, I'll handle it” 

“Alright doctor” He nodded and left, 

I smiled and swing my office seat to back the office, seconds later, I could hear my office door opened

“Where's that bitch that refuses to attend to my husband just because she's still clinging onto the past?!” 

I smile and smoothly swing my seat to face her, 

“So it's you” She pointed fingers at me, I smirked but said nothing, I crossed my legs and relaxed back on my seat, 

She walked closer and leaned her two hands on my desk while she pulled closer, 

“Trust me when I say I know bitches like you and what they wants, you couldn't get what you want in the past and that's why you think you can sneak your way into the Ivanov family by making everybody beg you to treat my husband, now listen I'm going to be clear with you Millan Dave, Rolland rejected you once in the past, and he will always reject you, do you know why? Cause he will never settle for a slump girl like you, he chose me and left you, the earlier you move on the better for you”

I watched as she finished ranting and expected me to react, but I was just looking at her with no expression 

“Are you not going to say anything?” She asked and I shrugged nonchalantly 

“Fucking say something!” She yelled and banged on my table

“I know you want my family to pay you for the kidney your son is going to give to my husband so don't worry, we know you need money to feed your poor family, so name your price, 50 million, 80 million, 100 million just name it you bitch!” 

I didn't say a word to her, instead I leaned back on my seat as I kept watching her and I guess that annoyed her more, 

“Fuck I swear your silence is adding to my anger, fucking say something before I lose it Millan!”

I shrugged my shoulders, 

“Aish…….!” She yelled and slammed another hand on my table, 

“What are you shrugging for?”

“Then lose it” I replied

“What do you mean?” She gave me a weird look, I sighed and leaned forwards, looking her eyeball to eyeball, 

“You said I should say something or you lose it, and then I said you should lose it” 

“Are you threatening me? Maybe you don't have an idea of whom my father is”

I sighed and shook my head at her craziness as I pick up my laptop, 

“Didn't you hear what I just said?” She groan and slammed my laptop close, I slowly looked up at her with a deadly look, 

“What did you just do?” I asked and slowly stood up

“I was talking to you”

“Am I supposed to listen or care about who your father is?” 

“How dare you talk about my father like that?!” She yelled

“And if I dare, what will you do?” I smirked taking slow and predatory steps towards her, with my two hands folded

“Wh….wh…what….are you doing?” She stuttered, stepping back while I keep walking to her 

“Stop right there” She pointed at me with fears in her eyes, her back slammed against the wall while I finally got close to her, 

“What are you doing?” She stammered in fear, but instead I smiled and took a step back

“Scaredy cat” I said with a sneaky smile, and shook my head

“Are you making a caricature of me?” She asked and I turned

“You just said so” I smiled and shrugged my shoulder

“I can allow you to insult me, but not my family, keep that in mind” I said to her walking back to my seat, I got to my seat and gracefully sat down, she was still looking traumatize and was just staring at me in fear, 

“Get out of my office” I said to her

“Mrs Ivanov will you leave or do you prefer the security to drag you out” I said in a cold and relax tone,

“Don't think you've won, I'll find someone to treat my husband with or without your help”

“Good luck on that” I said nonchalantly, she walked to my desk and grabbed her purse, she was about to leave the office when the door suddenly opened and a nurse wheeled Rolland in, I secretly rolled my eyes getting tired of seeing their faces already

“Baby?!” She called and ran to him immediately hugging him,

“Baby you have to trust me this woman is a psycho, I came to talk to her about you but guess what she did to me babe, she pulled my hair and threaten me, baby she's so evil you have to believe me” She ranted to him him, I leaned back confidently on my seat looking at them, waiting for her to finish reporting me to her darling husband 

“Baby are you listening to me?” She tapped her husband who had his eyes on me the whole time 

“Baby!” She yelled and he finally looked at her, 

“You weren't even listening?” 

“I'm….I'm sorry hope you're okay?” He asked cupping her face 

“Hmm, can I get a kiss?” 

She said to him and began kissing him in my presence, I laughed inwardly at her stupidity, and picked my laptop as I began to type on it, the bitch must be stupid if she's expecting any reaction from me, 

“Sir I think it's time to go back” The nurse that came with them said to him, I didn't bother raising my head till they were gone, 

I finally closed the laptop and sighed deeply, it's been eight fucking years why does it hurt seeing him happily married, he left me and got married to someone else while I suffered through thick and thin, under the rain under the sun, and he still had the guts to appear in front of me?  

I took a deep breath and stood up, I took off my doctor's jacket and took my car key, I think I need a good rest, I'm done for today, I took my Hermes handbag and my car key as I began to leave my office but as soon as I opened my office door, I was surprised to see Rolland waiting on his wheelchair 

“My heartbeat”

I wanted to ignore him and walk away when he suddenly grabbed my hand

“Please just five seconds of your time”
