Jasmine's POV

I chuckled and crossed my arms. I saw how he smiled and fixed himself to look presentable.

I smiled broadly, and he thought that I would agree easily.

“ Mr. Peterson, I'm sorry to reject you, but I have no interest in dating.” I politely said and excused myself, but he walked beside me.

“ I'm just kidding. I shouldn't leave a bad impression on someone who is as gorgeous as you, especially since this is our first meeting, Ms. Stewart.” He winked at me, and I secretly rolled my eyes.

Did he think that he could get me by doing that stuff? I stopped and looked at him.

“ Mr. Peterson, I'll just find another way to compensate you,” I said.  I was about to walk away when I suddenly tripped. I closed my eyes and waited for my face to bump on the floor, but s
