Adaline Point of View

"Call me when you land." Ashley says, kissing my cheek

I nod, taking the fried chicken from her, she put it in a cooler, then walk to Daniel, hugging him.

I glance at my bestfriend and boyfriend, waiting for me, with the car door opened.

"Your chariot awaits, my darling." Cyp says, and I laugh, sitting at the back seat, he joins me, and Zoe drives, with her earpods in, I frown, knowing she might be feeling a little odd, which is understandable, because her bestfriends are getting married to eachother, and she's still single.

I lean into Cyp's open arm, and open the cooler, taking a bite of fried chicken, offering him one, but he refuses.

"You need to burn all those extra weight you put on during your break." He says, and I stuffen, more at the word he used - break - I was depressed, and he called it a break, and tells me I am fat.

I bite into the Chicken harder, and Zoe looks back, and in her eyes, like she's trying to talk to me, I frown as she faces the front,
