CHAPTER 2 Who is Alexander Jones

Rose didn’t startle at all by a sudden unexpected grab and sudden ambiguous kiss from an obnoxious person, she is not like other girls, young miss from rich families who started panicking easily wanted to shout or run away in such a situation, but she was still indifferent.

She recognized the man with his touch when he grabbed her, but she still didn’t react, neither in favor nor in opposition.

She wished to push him when he was chewing her glossy red lips with so much passion as punishing her, but she didn’t do. Neither she gives in, nor opposed. No matter how much he tried, she didn’t open her mouth to welcome her snobbish tongue nor she opposes him impatiently.

But with the chance his dominant mood goes increasing to force her to give in and after sometimes when she couldn’t take it anymore, she lifts her right leg and kicked in his stomach by her knees with her full energy.

She is a tough girl, not a fragile coquettish young miss, her full strength is enough to make even a body built up man to winch in pain because she is pro in self-defense, it was short of the time in her fully occupied with responsibilities life otherwise she wanted to be a pro in many martial arts.

The man too winced in pain and leave her at once but didn’t leave his gaze on her, still looking at her in a domineering style.

“What the hell, are you trying to do, Mr. Alexander Jones?” Rose after pushing him hard with her full strength yells angrily.

Alexander staggered a little by her harsh push but then steadied himself and smirk in a devilish and cunning way, rub his thin lips by thumb and lick it as tasting her strawberry lip gloss merrily, behaving as a careless hector.

He moved towards her, block her between wall and him, and cage her in his arms by putting it at either side of her head and said in a seductive voice in her ear, “Why are you chiding? back then you always used to enjoy my kiss, not only enjoy even you always reciprocate it, then what happens today.”

Rose shiver for a few minutes because of his irresistible voice which touched her ears and blew warm air on her soft point.

Rose being embarrassed and crouch her eyelashes, Alexander’s devilish smirk grew wider seeing his effect on her is still the same as it was in the past sometimes before.

Rose knew he was smirking at her shamelessly despite crouch eyelashes and it made her feel disdain for him who is trying to tease her, she thought it was her mistake that she only let him know her weakness and softness but now it’s time for her to let him know that she is enough strong to get over her weakness.

She once again pushed him who was crouching towards her with a devilish smirk but not such harshly, which shows her frustration but slightly to make a safe distance.

“It was all past and I have already moved on,” Rose lie effortlessly if it’s on her dignity she can give up anything.

“You know me better that I hate to talk about the past, and my past with you I feel disgusted by those days now. So, it’s better for you to look forward to your present and future and let me also live my life peacefully.”

Alexander’s ego hurts by her words, “Why are you in such a hurry to get rid of me, did you get anyone else?” He knew it’s not worth still he tried to mock her.

“It has nothing to do with you.” Rose replied coldly, till now she has completely consoled her fast-beating heart, which always betrays her after seeing him.

Post saying her piece of conversations she was about to move towards her way to home but stopped by Alexander who held his arm and once again pulled her at the same place where she was standing with the wall.

It’s just matters of the difference of physical strength between a man and a woman otherwise, Rose wasn’t silently tolerating his behavior with her and she doesn’t want to show her unsuccessful struggle to make him more snobbishly pompous on himself in fact she has the power to defeat him without strength.

She remains aloof, but he was getting temper gradually by her demeanor, again said in domineering tone, “Everything about you has to do with me, I didn’t move on from you neither I will ever nor will let you ever. It’s you who initiate to break up, not me, and I warned you that instant I don’t let you go from my life.”

Rose was highly indignant at him who put all the blame on her alone and cornered himself, forgetting the mistake of his side which compels her to take this decision.

“Yes, I choose to break up because the base of every relationship is trust, love, and care are the secondary, when you chose not to trust me, our relationship has broken with no room left behind to reconcile and my final answer was only a formality left.”

Post saying her piece of words Rose didn’t go but straight looked in his eyes tentatively. She is eager to eager to see the guilt for his action of past on his face? Alas, it wasn’t; she knew Alexander is a stubborn man he will not realize his fault easily let alone accept it and apologize.

But Rose is not any pushover who let anybody bully her and accuse her unreasonably and what more he hides such an important secret of his life which she will not forgive ever, neither now nor later.

“Even you hide your real self which I can’t tolerate, before starting my relation I clearly told you I like transparency I don’t like if people belong to me hide something that’s why I told you I have some hidden motives from life, for the time being, I can’t share with anybody and that was the perfect time you have but you made your mind to hide it from me.”

Listening to Rose’s last speech, Alexander’s mouth curled in a mocking smile. He said disdainfully, “Oh, really you are saying I hide secrets from you? You yourself are hiding many secrets from the world, so don’t blame me.”

Rose doesn’t want to take this argument further, her conscience is clear, and she believes he is not reasonable when he talks.

“I don’t want to argue with you.” Rose said firmly in reply and moved forward.

He wanted to stop her again but one look from her eyes restrain him to approach her but he still said from behind to provoke her.

“Yes, you always used to do like this only, whenever you need to answer me sincerely you always walkout,” Alexander shouts being fret he failed once again to confront her.

Rose stopped for a second but didn’t spin around and answer indifferently, showing his provocation didn’t affect her.

“Yes, I am not good enough for you, better not come here again, forget me and move on.”

Rose walked by saying this and didn’t turn around to see his frustrated state.

He punched the wall in front of him in anger and mummers to himself, “What are you hiding Rose that made you give up on our relationship rather than sharing it with me, why are you doing this, just tell me once I will protect you from everything, I love you I love you a lot Rose please tell me what are you hiding, I can’t be ease like this.”

The thing Alexander was murmuring to himself that’s his concern for Rose and he is drowning in it but couldn’t able to share it with Rose as she always is on her guards up from him after break up and before that he didn’t realize to say about this to her.

He couldn’t able to take this break up she already took so much time to accept this relation that too after his great effort since he fell in love with her at first sight.

Alexander once again failed miserably to pursue Rose to speak her heart out, his only goal for since long render incomplete, and her attitude always defeats him. He was about to go from there, with heads down and a gloomy face, when a familiar voice stopped his steps.

“Excuse me,” Alexander is familiar with this voice very much. Once upon a time, the owner of the voice is very close to him, like a good friend, but now as like Rose, she is also distant herself from him.

He turned around and found Laura Brown in front of him.

“Why don’t you leave her alone special agent Mr. Alexander Jones?”
