CHAPTER 5 Rose in trouble

After circling a pic of Lily, Rose looked towards the Pinboard with so much disdain that she wanted to burn everything right now but it’s just a matter of few minutes she immediately consoled her emotions and once again changed her expression in her usual cold and indifferent one.

She turned around swiftly, strode out of the vault, closed it, and started preparing for the café, it’s time for the customers to show up.

Rose once again engulfs in her routine, but at the back of the mind didn’t forget about her motives.

Till a few days, she daily got news about Alan and Lily through Miss Sandra but none of the news was enough useful for her still she keeps paying her, one day she came to know that Alan’s company is in some kind of loss that’s why he is going to turn all his assets in cash and going to invest in shares of Lowell Brothers.

“Lowell Brothers, it's interesting.”

She in her chamber after closing the café down reading the letter dropped by Miss Sandra to the only red-letter box of the most notable area of Duluth City, Rose’s beautiful red lips curled into a devilish smirk.

She mumbles to herself merrily.

Rose instructs Miss Sandra to daily write a report to her about the information about Alan and Lily’s life and post it in an old letterbox of the area she will ask.

Rose only messages her the name of the area where she has to post the letter content information of Alan and Lily and as she posts the letter she receives the transfer in her bank account obviously Rose was keeping watch on her through hacking surveillance cameras of different areas.

Rose was so happy today after getting the report of her interest. She got an idea of what could be her next step.

She stood up, far left behind her mood of taking rest after the all day long work and got ready in a black knee-length sleeveless dress, after combing left open her golden-brown long hairs and just gave a light touch up to her beauty which actually does not need makeup.

At last, she wore a black long overcoat to protect herself from the cold of Duluth City and walked out of her bedroom after picking up his mobile and car keys and wearing high-length shoes.

Laura heard the opening and closing sound of the door and got that Rose is going out of the house where she goes often, releasing a deep sigh she heard the car sound and moved to her bed and Rose drove off her red Mercedes SUV to the nightclub ‘Demon’s Soul’.

Rose is a charming, and a born beauty with no extra preparation, even with her most casual look attract everyone towards her, her height and figure, attractive sharp features make her prominent wherever she goes, then how is it not possible for her when she enters the club she wouldn’t get extra attention.

She is a frequent customer of the Demon’s Soul night club, therefore many know her very well here and even know her temperament despite that, there are many young guys who turned towards the gate and forgot to blink their eyes seeing the goddess of beauty in front of them.

Rose swept her gaze casually, then stepped towards her regular seat with her usual indifferent expression.

She was sipping red wine less alcoholic drink when suddenly a young guy approaches her and asked gently.

“Hey miss, see we are celebrating one of my friend’s birthday here,” he points towards a direction where few guys with few girls were sitting and drinking like spoiled brats, they also looked towards Rose and smile but Rose remains indifferent didn’t bother to even spare a smile.

After giving them one glance, she again turned towards the boy standing in front of her.

“Would you like to join us as my date, see my all friends are having their girls accompanying them except me?” Guy tried to approach her very gently but he can’t hide the cunningness in his eyes couldn’t from Rose’s experienced hawk gaze.

“Could you please leave me alone?”

Rose’s attitude was always indifferent, after saying she once again turned her head and resume her drink.

Rose is here to relax and think about the way so she can execute her plan not to enjoy or party like other people, nor to dissolve any sorrow in the drink like many sitting alone and got heavily drunk looking broken from the face.

Rose’s attitude was like an insult to him but he endures this for the hot chick in front of him, he wants her today by hook or by crook, he decided, first, let’s start with gentleness but if it will not go well, then he has to show his true color.

“Hey, beautiful, don’t be so rude, you are so gorgeous that’s why I approach you, otherwise, there are many other girls in this club who are ready to be my companion.”

Rose looks towards him from head to toe in ridicule and threw her words like a stone.

“Then go to them and pretend that you never saw me.”

“You are so rude, with a haughty attitude; I was talking to you politely and you…”

The guy was losing his gentleness and his inner beast was eager to show up. It never happens in his life that if he lay his eye on any girl and couldn’t get her.

“And you are a brainless idiot with no moral sense unnecessarily pestering me even after my straightforward rejection.”

Guy felt like she slapped him without lifting his hand between these many people and his friends also started laughing at him.

He approached Rose with full confidence and had a bet with his friends that he will get this hot chick today but seems like, but lost it badly. His temper arose and anger overpowered his mind. He suddenly grabbed Rose’s hand and says evilly.

“You don’t know who I am, it’s better to follow me silently, I am Bruno Lowell son of Andrea Lowell no girl is brave enough to reject me, you must be gratified that I like you at the first sight otherwise, girls are dying in Duluth City just for my one glance.”

Rose once again spares him a glare from top to tail a handsome-looking guy is not such handsome that Rose should be thankful after swept her gaze on him from top to bottom it stopped on his hand which holding her wrist on which was she holding the glass of red wine.

She took the glass in the other hand and finish the last sip of drink indifferently twist her wrist with full force which he was holding got off from his hold in a nanosecond and the next moment she slapped him hard that his face tilted to the opposite direction.

“Whoever you are I don’t care and you must be grateful that I am just sparing you with a slap after you dare to touch me otherwise you could have spared with only one hand for several months to work.”

Rose’s words challenged her ego and stunned his friends. Even they all stood up to fight for their friend but couldn’t able to bother Rose’s cold, indifferent, and confident attitude.

Before they could do anything, a tall and body-built-up guy came between these college guys and stopped them. Still, they have the faith in their quantity so they want to teach this haughty girl some lesson who insulted their friend and slapped him.

“Stop right there, otherwise I have to call the police and then to all of your parents.” The tall man’s threat worked they all took a step back and slowly walked to their seats.

When Bruno was about to go tall man stopped him from the shoulder, “You are Bruno Lowell?” Bruno just nods his head in fear of seeing a tall body built-up man in front of him.

“Seems like Andrea Lowell didn’t teach you well how to behave with girls, and if he didn’t do his part well, then I should have to help him as a good citizen.” The tall man finished his word and slapped Bruno hard.

This slap was much more hard in density than Rose’s, Bruno’s ears seem like ringing with bells.

The tall guy’s behavior stunned all guests in the nightclub, including Rose. The tall guy was facing his back to her till now and always indifferent Rose seems gave a surprised expression the first time.

The towering man turned around after helping a beautiful lady seem to get a gratitude expression but was dumbfounded seeing such a cold and indifferent expression and what is more shocking her ungrateful words.

“You should not slap him again I did my part well, stop meddling in people’s business, and become a hero,” Rose said, turned around, and again sat on her previous place where she was sitting.

Rose was also dumbstruck with such a smart, charming, and manly personality, defeating the Greek god word for him is not any elaboration, whereas he was also awestruck with such an aloof beauty who looks so beautiful attractive and irresistible but her cold and rude tongue defeat him.

He got that she is on with her guards up, his experience gaze got that she has a lacking sense of security and trust in others.

“You are so ungrateful.” The man said with a mocking smile.

Rose felt his smile dooming her, but she immediately conceals her expression.

“Then you should leave me alone,” Rose said indifferently and turned her face.

The man was expecting such kind of answer from her; he didn’t feel bad and moved from there not very far. She sat a little farther from Rose and ordered his drink while looking towards her.

Rose got his gaze on her and this is not the first time that somebody was staring at her keenly, but this is the first time she was becoming nervous from somebody’s gaze.

She took a deep breath and gathered her all-common sense to remind herself that there is no one called a friend in this world all is an enemy and she should not let herself affected by an idiot’s gaze.

Bruno Lowell was burning in anger after seeing the scenario and getting more and more hyper after looking at the tall man’s constant gaze on her hot chick.

“Bruno calm down no need to use your family power everywhere sometimes start using brain.” Bruno’s friend Leila Smith said wretchedly.

“What do you mean?” Bruno asked in confusion to Leila sitting beside him.

“Wait, let me explain,” she took out a bottle from her purse and showed it to her group.

“This is an aphrodisiac drug we just need to put it in that fastidious haughty girl’s drink and Bruno she will be yours for tonight.”

Everybody praises her idea and Bruno made his mind he will teach this unscrupulous girl a lesson who not only rejects him but also slaps him.

Two girls stood from there with a drugged glass in hand and gave this to the server who was serving Rose and knew her for long, at first he denied even with a bribe but then the girls said that it’s an apology drink from their side, their friend was snobbish with her that’s why.

The server does not think much seeing girls sent the drink, she gave it to Rose; she took it as it was her last drink she took it and drank it one go.

Finishing her last drink, Rose after keeping the check amount on the table stood up and walked out of the nightclub oblivious to the danger following her.

She was opening her car’s door when suddenly someone from behind pulled her harshly from her arms and dragged her aside.
