Chapter 1: Let's Get Divorse

"What do you want to talk about, Logan?" Brianna asked her husband.

Logan drank his wine, calmed himself, and looked at her, "Let's get a divorce," he uttered. His baritone voice was cold as ice.

"I have arranged the divorce agreement with Carson. There are compensations, and if you have other demands, just tell me."

Brianna took a deep breath. She could feel the cold wind touching her body. She looked at the sky and saw the bright full moon.  She grinned and tilted her head.  She expected this scenario because of her husband's sudden change two months ago.

"Why so sudden?" she asked in a hushed tone.

"Gabriella is back," he answered while looking into her eyes.

She knew who Gabriella was, the woman who left him before their wedding day. There was a moment of silence before  she replied, "There's no problem with me."

Logan looked into her eyes.  He couldn't believe that Brianna would immediately agree to the divorce agreement.

"If you don't say anything, I'm going to go to my room to rest," said Brianna.

"I will give you the divorce agreement tomorrow," Logan's final words before Brianna walked inside their house.

When Brianna lay down on her bed, her memories of the first time she and Logan met returned to her.

More than two years ago, he saw Logan in a bar.  The two of them talked, and Brianna discovered what happened to Logan.

Logan did everything for his most beautiful day to marry Gabriella, his first and true love.  He gave time to prepare everything to be done for the wedding, but two weeks before the wedding, Gabriella vanished like a bubble in his eyes.

Logan looked for Gabriella, but he couldn't find her despite using all his connections.

Because of what happened, Logan's life became miserable.  He didn't know what had happened, why Gabriella suddenly disappeared from his life until he met Brianna at a bar.

Logan entertained Brianna because she looked slightly like Gabriella. His interest got bigger because of the way she talked and moved like a decent woman.

There was no activity in bed between them in the first week. After some days of talking to her, Logan suddenly proposed to her to become his wife. Brianna accepted it instantly, and Logan's preparation for Gabriella became the wedding of Logan and Brianna.

Logan was an excellent husband to Brianna. He did everything for her for the past two years. All the things that Brianna wanted, he gave it all heartedly. When she was sick, he was there to take care of her, or vice versa. If there were problems in their life, they fixed them before they went to sleep at night. It was the perfect relationship.

However, two months ago, Logan suddenly changed when he received a phone call.

Brianna noticed Logan's sudden change in her.  He always came home late, he never slept in their bed, and she felt the cold treatment on her. It was obvious that Logan had distanced himself from her.

Morning came. Logan left their house early while Brianna did her daily routine inside the house.  After doing everything to be done, she got her phone and created a message.

Brianna- 'Find something interesting about Logan Grey's last two months, the CEO of Gray Empire!'  She sent.

After less than twenty seconds, her phone beeped.  She opened it and read the reply.

Jake- 'Am I dreaming?  Is that really you, Brei?'

Brianna frowned.

Brianna- 'I need it as soon as possible, Jake!!"

Jake- 'Okay.  Give me ten minutes!'  he replied.

Brianna sighed.  She closed her eyes and rested her back on the sofa to rest.

After more than five minutes, Jake forwarded the information she required.

Jake- 'Logan Grey, twenty-nine years old, the CEO of Gray Empire, their family company, the largest company in Sunshine City.  Two months ago, he visited the Sunshine Hospital, and after that, he visited the hospital daily.'

Brianna got confused and asked herself, 'He visited Sunshine Hospital daily?  For what reason?'

Brianna- 'What is he doing at Sunshine Hospital?  Is he sick or something?" she asked.

Jake- 'He is not sick, Brei.  According to the information I got, he always visits a woman.  Her name is Gabriella Morgan," he replied.

Brianna shook her head because of what she found out.

'That means, when Logan's attitude towards me has changed, he's been cheating on me?'

Jake- 'Why are you asking, Brei?  I saw in his picture he's handsome!  Don't tell me; he is your type!'  Jake asked her.

When Brianna read Jake's message, she put down her phone and clicked airplane mode.

When Logan came home, he presented the divorce agreement to Brianna.  She read the divorce agreement.

"It stated in that divorce agreement that you will get compensation," he informed her.

"And if you have something in your mind, you can ask me anything," he added.

Brianna read all the clauses.  There was no problem at all, so she looked at Logan.

"Can I ask anything I want?"  Brianna clarified.

"Yes, anything! Everything you want, I will give you as long as you agree with all the clauses in our divorce agreement, "  Logan replied.

"Even the things that suddenly come to my mind?" She asked.

"Yes, even the things that suddenly come to your mind," he replied.

Brianna nodded. She thought for less than a minute before answering.

"I want the villa at the Arkan Subdivision," she said.

"What else?"

"The most expensive yacht," she added.

Logan raised an eyebrow because of Brianna's request.

"Sure. That's all you want?"

"And, of course, we will split the income you earned throughout the two years of our marriage," she answered.

Logan's eyes widened.  He frowned because Brianna requested him.

"I'm not crazy enough, Brianna!"

Brianna grinned, "I know you know that after marriage, the assets are considered joint between husband and wife, Logan."  she informed him.

"I have done all the things. I already added your salaries over the past two years and bonuses, and to add up, it will be several hundred million," she gave pieces of information.  Her tone was cold and serious.

Logan couldn't think because of what Brianna said.

'How did she know all of that?'  Logan asked himself.

Brianna stayed at home for more than two years of their marriage.  She went out to buy supplies they needed at home, so how did she know about the law?

"Don't worry, Logan. I am not asking for much. I just need thirty percent!"

"Your true colors came out!"  Logan yelled.

Brianna raised an eyebrow at what Logan said.

"I didn't expect that you are a gold digger!"

Brianna held her breath because of what Logan said to her.

"Tell me if you can't do it, Logan. You know that I am easy to talk to," Brianna said.

"I will not accept your requests!!"  Logan rejected.

"Okay. The discussion is clear!"  Brianna said before turning around.

"You need to sign the divorce agreement!"

"I will sign it if you do what I have said," she answered.

Logan clenched his fists because of Brianna's answer.  He couldn't imagine that this would happen between him and Brianna.

He thought Brianna would cry and ask what the reasons were.  But no!  He never expected Brianna to have these kinds of characteristics, to be a hypocrite!

'Is everything he has shown and done in more than two years of our marriage a show?'  Logan asked himself.

"Your parents called earlier. They want us to go to them tomorrow," Brianna informed him.

"And when we were there, We would tell them we would get divorced. I will tell them that you cheated on me. I am sure your family will defend me," she said confidently.

Logan sighed.  He calmed himself before answering her.

"Okay. I will give you everything you want," Logan surrendered.

"Even though I never cheated on you, tell my family the reason why we will get a divorce is that you lost interest in me," he added.

When Gabriella returned to Sunshine City and contacted Logan, he promised himself that she would stay by her side.  He will not allow Gabriella to leave him again, his first love, the love of his life!

"Okay!" she replied.
