CHAPTER 49: SHE’S BEEN SHOT

“Hello boss, I just got to the clinic and I was told she left to pick her younger brothers in school” Ethan reported over the phone.

“What do you mean she left to pick her younger brothers? She never called to tell me she was leaving the hospital. Look for her Ethan please, go to her brothers school. I’ll be on my way right away” Nelson said panicking.

“You called for me sir” Hilda said as she entered his Nelson’s office.

“Yes Hilda. I have to leave the office right now. I don’t think I’ll be coming back in today so please take care of things while I’m away” Nelson said to her.

“Okay sir. I hope all is well? Would you like me to reschedule the meetings you have?”Hilda asked.

“No no, you don’t need to reschedule the meetings, you have to attend and represent me” Nelson replied.
