New home

Kiara stayed up till midnight, looking out of the window; as the maid said, he didn't seem to return back home. The girl could finally relax, she laid down on the bed which reeked of his scent. This sent brought bouts of nostalgia within her, some good and some nightmarish memories.

She stared at the ceiling, even though this place wasn't new to her it still felt a little odd as she was now the mistress of this house. This was her new home…

Kiara told herself that she will be living with Icarus from now on till they officially divorce. But judging by today, maybe he will be out most of the time; their company was vast and branched in several countries so of course, there would be loads of work for him to take care of. She felt a little relieved that she would be alone most of the time but what about the other days.

What about… him sleeping next to her?

Her body rose up with goosebumps as the memories she tried to push down started to surface inside her head. "No! Stop it… stop doing this to me." She screamed before burying her head inside the pillow.

The next morning…

The girl was woken up by her blazing ringtone which indicated an incoming call; she picked up lazily, her mind still amazed that she somehow managed to sleep after fighting her demons last night. The call was from Sophia, and as soon as she picked up, Sophia's cheeky voice resounded, "Hey, Mrs Vuron. Had a rough wedding night."

"Bullshit! That demon left for some business and I got the room all to myself."

"Oh, if so… THEN WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" Sophia suddenly screamed across the phone waking Kiara completely. She asked, "What happened? Why are you so mad?"

Sophia sighed, "I knew you would forget! Today is your audition, girl."

"Crap! I completely forgot about it amongst all this hustle." Kiara touched her forehead realising that she only had one hour to get ready and reach the set. Sophia said, "Don't panic! You drive straight here, I will try to find a makeup room for you."

"No! There won't be enough time to grow through a professional makeover. I will do what I can and reach there; you try to stall my entry."

"Okay! Come soon." Sophia hung up the phone; Kiara sprinted into the bathroom for a quick shower. After she was done she dashed downstairs in her robe to ask if her things were brought back from the Smith's.

Chloe was confused, "No, it hasn't reached yet. What are you expecting in this delivery, my Luna."

"It's my clothes and accessories! I have a very important audition today and I have nothing to wear." Kiara said, at this point she was starting to panic for her life. Chloe said, "Why don't you look for something in the wardrobe?"

"Wardrobe? You want me to wear Icarus's clothes for the audition?" She asked with a dull face, she had no time to mess around.

"No no! Not the Alpha's. I am talking about your wardrobe."

"My… wardrobe?" 

"Oh, the Alpha didn't tell you about it?" Chloe giggled and led her upstairs. The two came to the room adjacent to the master bedroom and said, "Take a look inside, Luna."

Kiara didn't dare to think of anything and pushed the door open to see that Chloe was not spouting nonsense, it was indeed a walk-in closet full of dresses and accessories.

Her eyes gleamed seeing this, it was just like the one she always wanted. The closet which was just as big as their room had various sets of clothes from high end brands, some were even custom made which were worth hundreds of thousands. There were a whole bunch of aisles for shoes, heels and bags. Kiara stood there stunned for a while unable to digest all this.

Chloe asked, "Do you like them, Luna? Alpha brought all these a few days back without telling any of us the reason. We were only required to arrange everything and keep it safe. Now we know why he bought all these."

Kiara was not interested in any of this little maid's praises. She had no heart of using any of the things that had been bought by him but she was desperate now, she was running late with nothing to wear and had to get this role anyhow. 

She decided to put away her stubbornness and pick up something for herself when something grabbed her attention. She turned around and asked, "When did he buy all these?"

"It was the day he was bestowed the title of the Alpha and was given the charge of the company. He selected a few female employees and asked them to pick up whatever a girl would like to wear. These all you see here were chosen by them." Chloe explained the Alpha's bizarre behaviour, it didn't make sense to anyone until he was married and brought in a bride. Seemed like he wanted to prepare all this for her but had no idea what a woman would prefer so he took a little help.

Kiara muttered, "The day he took charge would be… three days ago, right."

"Yes, my Luna."

"Our marriage was fixed just yesterday. How did he… buy clothes for me days ahead of time?"

"What did you say, Luna?" Chloe asked but Kiara shook her head, "It is nothing. I have to get ready, will you help me?"

"Sure!"

Kiara dismissed her thoughts and started to go through her dresses to pick out something perfect for the audition. She settled for a professional skirt and blouse as this role she was trying out for was an assistant.

The dress fit perfectly on her and complimented her naturally curvy body. She sat down in front of the make up table to find that there was another whole collection there, all from her favourite brands.

It was starting to feel really odd to her but she had no time to ponder on it. The girl started her makeup while Chloe helped her with her hair.

After putting everything together, Kiara looked at her and was stunned how accurate and stunning she looked.

"You look… like a real life assistant, Luna." Chloe said.

Kiara rushed downstairs, she had no time for breakfast. She asked, "Do you think I can get a cab here?"

"..." Chloe looked at her confused before again taking her outside to a garage. She punched in the passcode and the shutter slowly lifted up to reveal a luxurious collection of cars to Kiara.

WHAT ALL HAS THIS MAN COLLECTED AND STORED IN HIS HOUSE?

Chloe said, "Pick any car you like, Luna. If you don't know how to drive I will arrange for the chauffeur to drive you there."

"Chauffeur, no! I know how to drive. It's just… all these are BMWs and Lamborghini, I want something low profile." Kiara replied with an awkward smile; she didn't consider herself that man's wife and it was not right for her to drive around in his fancy car, showing herself rich.

This using his car and things were temporary, once she gets her breakout in the movies, she will pay back for everything she has ever used in his house.

Chloe was impressed by her Luna's modesty; at first, a lot of the people in the household could not accept the fact that the Alpha got married to a human. But when they met her in person, they realised that she was not awful at all but a really sweet and respectful individual.

This made her like Kiara more.

The two looked around and found that the least expensive one was an Audi. Even though it was still eye-catching, it was better than the other fancy sports car.

Kiara drove and jumped a few traffic lights to reach on time. Sophia called her just as she parked the car, "Dude, where are you? It's almost your number now."

"I am here." Sophia heard Kiara's voice, she looked at the direct and was stunned. "Oh my God, girl. Where did you get this outfit from?"

"I… got it somehow." Kiara didn't want to reveal anything to her yet as she knew she would have a lot of explaining to do to satiate her curiosity.

"You look perfect. Just nail the performance and you will be in."

The two women walked in not noticing a pair of eyes that were looking at them. The man swiftly took a photo, giggling.

He opened his phone and went straight to W******p, he clicked on Icarus's profile and sent the photo to him, saying, "Yo, look who I found here. Didn't know she was serious back then when she said she wanted to be an actress."

Luke kept aside his phone as he thought the man would be busy at this hour of the day but was shocked when his phone buzzed- he had replied instantly.

"Where?"

 "What a wife slave!" Luke said to himself before sending him the address. The message was read right away but no reply was received.

Back in the Vurons Corp, the usually focused President was staring at his phone. The members were confused as it was their first time seeing their Alpha use his phone in the office premises. No one dared to ask him anything and the man presenting was confused if he should stop or continue.

Everyone looked at Icarus who suddenly rose up from his seat and said, "Dismiss." Before walking out of the meeting room.
