Chapter 89: Our Best

Nadia’s POV

Veer accompanied me to

the police station to file a missing child. It shredded my heart into millions

of pieces reporting the missing of my baby whom I was with just yesterday. It

still feels like a dream to me.

“…is she?” the sergeant’s

last words were the only thing I heard.

Veer squeezed my hand to

draw me back to reality. “Hmm?” I mumbled.

“You said he went out

with his tutor. Who is she?” the sergeant repeated.

“Mrs Mahavir. She has

been tutoring Zeehan for over a year now,” I replied.

“Do you know where she

lives?” he asked further.

“We have already been

there, she wasn’t home then. And this isn’t her first time taking him out. I

don’t know why she didn’t bring him back as usual and her phone has been

switched off ever since,” I explained without fumbling. When it has to do with

finding Zeehan, I will give my best.

“You have to act fast,

sergeant Kalpen,” Veer interjected. “I am sur
