Chapter 88: Where Is My Child, Veer?

Nadia’s POV

It was morning, I

couldn’t sleep all through the night. I began dialing Mrs Mahavir’s number

again and just as yesterday, it was switched off. I couldn’t control the tears

that gushed down my cheeks, trailing my throat to my chest.

“Where the hell did you

take my baby!” I yelled at the mirror, slamming my hands on the vanity table.

Staring at my raging reflection, all I could see was a woman with madding hair,

covering her face like a scary dull. My eyes were puffy because of too many

tears and my heart beat as thundering as ever, making my chest heave up and

down. I thought it was going to explode, making me lifeless, but no, I was

still alive with uneven breathing. The thought of losing Zeehan made me tingle

with anxiety.

“Veer,” I mumbled under

my breath, my eyes darkening.
