CHAPTER 130- Unbroken Spirit

Magnus decided to return to the villa, despite the doctors urging him to stay for further recovery. His physical wounds were healing, but the weight in his heart was unbearable. He couldn't waste any more time—Lara was in danger, and he needed to act. Before he left, he made his way to the infirmary, where his best friend, Alex, lay motionless in a bed, surrounded by the scent of medicine and the low hum of machines keeping him alive.

Magnus approached Alex with slow, deliberate steps, his heart heavy with emotion.
