CH : 6

Beep...Beep...Beep

My alarm clock shouted and I woke up without further delay. It was 5:30 a.m. I went to the bathroom and took a bath.

I searched for something beautiful from my almirah and smiled while hugging the little black casual bodycon dress. 

I curled my hair and kept my specs in my handbag. Wearing lenses I took my suitcase outside where the taxi was waiting. I handed my belongings to the driver. He kept it in the car while I hugged Mom and Dad and said goodbye. Mom told me to take care and my Dad kissed me politely on my forehead.

After 30 minutes I arrived at the airport with excitement dancing in my eyes. I saw other students from my class. It was a small group ,just 10.

I saw Kate waving from a distance. I took my suitcase and went straight to her. She was looking gorgeous in the little blue dress.

"You are looking gorgeous! " I told her. She thanked and complemented me back.

"You are looking hot Anderson!" John said. He was termed the rudest in our class. He bullied everyone, actually boys. He joked that girls are weak and they will die crying even if someone bullies them.

"Don't look like that again otherwise you are gonna find me in your bed some night. " John smirked and his friends laughed.

We ignored him and felt no need to argue with a jerk. There were 5 boys and 5 girls. Nice!

Our teachers, Mr Keesing and Miss Rose arrived and we all went behind them. Everybody was maintaining discipline till now because of Mr Keesing's anger.

We all took our seats in the plane. I couldn't control my happiness. Just a little time and after that I will be at my favourite city.

The contented feeling which just days ago mutated me into a happy girl was something which could've never happened even if someone gave me million dollars. 

Kate was sitting just next to me which was a relief as neither she nor I wanted to be in someon else's company.

Throughout the journey we chatted and then slept as drowsiness dominated over us.

It took me a while to fall asleep due to the uncontrollable wailings by my heart to dance because of the excitement.

"Are we there?" I asked quizzically waking up after a while. 

"No! But you sleepyhead! You are missing the view. Look, the city of lights." She pointed her finger towards the window. I saw and found the EiffelTower. I fixed my gaze at it and kept looking outside. 

It was indeed the most mesmerising views of all. The 26 alphabets weren't enough to describe the beauty of it. 

Only one word escaped my mouth "wow!" 

Everything felt useless and unworthy of our attention at that moment. My conscience didn't let my eyes even blink.

"Yeah! Just going to land." Kate said enthusiastically. I took her hand to let her know my happiness. She smiled realising my misery and uncontrollable love and addiction to travel the world. 

"I know. You always wanted to be here and Sweetie we are here. " She said with eyes wide open and a huge smile on face. I smiled knowing my pleas were accepted by the mighty one.

Finally I was where I always dreamt to be. I couldn't articulate my feelings. It felt so good.

I checked my phone and texted my parents of my safe landing and also found messages from Harry. That guy wad getting on my nerves. But forget it for now. I just want to concentrate on this place.

We all took our bags and went outside the airport. Handing our bags to the driver, we all sat inside the taxi. 4 taxis were called for 12. We all sat freely in the taxi and kept staring outside throughout the journey. 

The worst part was I had to sit with John. He did it intentionally. It was me, him and Kate in the taxi. John intentionally sat between us. Obviously what could be expected from such a creep.

I diverted my mind towards the beautiful city. I kept looking at the beautiful shops, houses and people walking here and there. Suddnely I felt a hand on my thigh rubbing mercilessly.

"What are you doing John?" I asked panicked but in a low voice to not grab unnecessary attention.

"What did I do Princess?" He smirked. Kate was sleeping hence she was out of this all. And half part of me didn't want her to get in this. She can be the worse in such situations. I pushed John's hand away and glared menacingly at him to warn him.

"I want to change seats." He demanded.

"But I don't want to." I said harshly.

"I promise I will stop if you let me take the seat." He reasoned with a smirk.

"You can sit ahead." I suggested.

"No. Now tell me if you are giving the seat or not?" I didn't want to waste time so I agreed. I just wanted to get rid of the disgust he caused.

"Come. Pass over me." He suggested with a mischievous smirk.

"No we can ask the driver to stop." I replied because I had had the premonition what he might do. 

"It's not your father's cheap  car that will stop whenever you want it to." He chuckled. I took a deep breath and didn't reply to that. Had I been a little tough, I would've taught him a lesson. 

I lifted myself and tried to pass over from him. I was just going to pass over him when he intentionally pulled me towards him while placing a hand on my waist. I fell on his thighs. I tried to free myself by scratching his hand. Finally he left me and laughed.

"What was he doing? I just saw it. I'm going to complain the teacher John." Kate snarled waking up abruptly but John ignored.

"It's alright. Leave it. We wanted to exchange seats. Let's watch outside." I said. I passed a pleading look at her and she calmed. We started laughing and chatting while watching the people and the market. We kept imagining things in between.

"What if you find someone here?" Kate said. I felt a sudden pain in my heart. I passed a perplexed look. She understood I didn't want anyone.

"Sorry. I forgot." Kate said.

"It's alright!" I said.

"What about shopping? I really want a lot of things to take home and we will buy something for Bobby too. She will love it." Kate said happily. I smiled.

I turned my head towards my phone and checked Harry's messages.

Hi!

You didn't reply? :)

Where are you?

You didn't even tell me that you were going to Paris. :(

I asked your mother. She told me you will be back after a week. I will be waiting. ;)

                               Jess:

Sorry! It slipped out of my mind to tell you that I was going to Paris.

You don't have to wait.

I will be back after 2 weeks because I have to stay with my uncle after coming back. :)

Just after 5 seconds his reply came.

Harry:                                                                                 Oh! I'm missing you. I've got a  surprise  for you. You will get it soon.
