CH -14

Jessy:

"How am I looking Kate?" I asked as Kate finished her makeup.

"Wow! Luis makes many good choices." Kate complimented with a wink.

"Wow! You are looking so gorgeous." I said with mouth wide open due to the blue dress that she wore. The blue gown touched the ground elegantly making a round shape. Her leg that was visible from the right side made her legs look even more gorgeous with the blue heels. I hugged her due to the immense proud that I felt looking at her beautiful style.

She hugged back and said "And you too!"

"I don't know but I don't like it." I said with a puppy face while looking in the mirror. The red dress covered my whole body and matched my light red makeup. I woke the black heels that belonged to Kate and looked unsatisfied in the mirror.

"You are stupid Jess. Don't give me excuses. Micahel is about to come. Come on!" Kate snarled. I nodded and followed her.

Why did Luis pick this theme? I hate dressing up like this on birthdays.

Ok! It's alright. I'm looking perfect for myself and I don't have to worry about anything.

I took the gift and followed Kate.

We waited for Michael and finally he arrived. He was looking good in the blue blazer and pants.

"Oh my my my! Two beautiful Goddesses. What are your intentions?" Michael winked at Kate and I rolled my eyes and took the back seat without waiting for him to continue his nonsense.

The couple kissed and sat on their respective seats.

"By 'intentions' I didn't mean anything dirty. I meant that-"

"It's alright Michael. Drive!" I said annoyed by his explanation.

"That's not a way to talk to my boyfriend Jessy." I shook my head as Kate complained.

"Awww! You look so cute when you are angry Jessy." Kate whinned.

"Shut up! Kate." That was the last thing I said then I kept quite the whole journey because I was nervous. I somehow got the premonition about what was going to happen.

Throughout the distance between the hotel and the villa, all I did was shake my legs and crossed my fingers.

I gulped as Michael hit the brakes. I knew what was going to happen.

Luis is really good and I think he deserves good. I don't want to hurt him because of someone else's mistake or foolishness. I really like him. The way he never takes steps hastily was one of the best things about his disposition. He gives time to everything but maybe this time he was taking a step without taking a lot of time.

On one hand, I wanted him to wait but on the other I wanted to just take a risk.

I saw Luis moving standing and waiting for us. He was looking handsome in the black suit. He smiled and waved as he saw me. I smiled back trying hard not to be nervous or even blush.

"Hey Jessy!" He said looking at me from bottom to top with a genuine smile.

"Happy Birthday Luis!" I wished and handed him the wrapped box which contained a watch. I bought it in yesterday morning for him when the teachers took us to Mussee du Louvre.

There weren't many people around. Just some classy girls and boys stood there talking and giggling to each other.

"Thanks Jessy! But there wasn't any need." He said. I smiled.

"Happy birthday Luis!" Kate shouted.

"Thanks Kate. You are looking gorgeous and hot!" Luis pulled Kate closer by her waist with intentions to make Michael jealous.

"Hey! Move your hands away from my girl." Michael snarled loudly and tried to pull Kate but Luis dodged.

"Come on Kate! Let's have a drink." Luis said loudly teasing Michael. I chuckled looking at Michael's angry face.

"Come on Jessy! Let's have sex." I narrowed my eyes as Michael placed his arm around my waist and pulled me close almost making me stumble.

"I will kill you Michael." Luis shouted angrily and left Kate. He removed Michael's hand away from my waist and dragged me a little away from Michael by taking hold of my arm.

"You started it Bro. Tit for Tat." Michael laughed and we all joined.

Kate and Michael went away excusing that they wanted private talk. I was left alone with Luis.

"Would you like to have something?" He asked politely as we walked towards the couch.

"It's alright!" I said shaking my head as I felt no thirt or hunger.

He took my hand in his and said "Come on!"

I followed him as he directed me to. He didn't leave my hand the entire time. I smiled because I love it when someone holds hands rather than placing arm around the waist.

He gave me a glass full of vine and I took it. He took one in his hand and moved upstairs. I followed. Finally we stopped as we reached the balcony. It was a little windy. The moon was already stealing the attention.

We were standing all alone. The music downstairs was not at all loud, just soft and refreshing. It felt so perfect.

"Cheers!" Luis raised his glass with a soft grin.

"Cheers to the birthday boy." We raised our glasses and chuckled as I stated.

"Let's dance." Luis proposed out of the blue and kept the glasses aside.

"Here?" I gave out a little laugh and pouted.

"What's wrong in that?"

"Ok!" I said and smiled at him. He placed his hands on my waist and I kept my hands on his shoulder. Our bodies were not that close but the distance between us was making us both feel better.

We laughed whenever our dance moves mismatched.

"It's so good!" Luis stated.

"Yeah!" I said.

Luis stared in my eyes. His hands on my waist and mine on his shoulders. He moved closer and closer. Our bodies finally touched. My chest crashed with his as he tightened his grip on my waist. I gulped as we were just inches apart. I took a deep breath then I kissed him. I thought it was the right thing to do and it wasn't the time to think that he has to take the first step being a boy. I took the first step in order to make him feel relieved of the queries about my feelings in his head.

He responded with a passionate kiss. We kissed for a moment which felt like years. It feels amazing kissing after a long time with someone special. His slow kiss was killing me more and made me desire for more. His soft lips around mine and moved calmly giving me shivers everywhere.  My hands roamed in his hair while pulling him closer. My body didn't want to leave his warmth neither did he wanted to step away. But we had to move apart shockingly as Michael, Jordan and Kate clapped and cheered for us. Kate hugged me tightly and indeed saved me from embarrassment. Michael and Jordan hugged Luis and didn't stop cheering.

"I'm so happy for you Jessy." Kate said tears glittering in her green eyes. I smiled back and nodded.

"I can see it clearly kate." I said cupping Kate's face. She again hugged me tightly unable to stop her happiness from being apparent in front of the outer world.

Her happiness was a reason of my happiness and vice versa. The bond, the friendship and the true feelings that we both possessed for her each other were the insignia of our journey since high school to present.

Luis:

"We are proud of you Luis." Jordan commented while releasing me from the tight bro hug. I smiled and bit my lip in order to restrain the tingling sensation on my cheeks.

"Yes! You are really brave." Micahel hugged me and giggled like a small kid.

"Thanks!" I nodded towards both of them. But my entire focus was on the feeling that still lasted on my lips. Her soft little lips were just perfect against my lips. The way she moved her hands in my hair made me feel better and took away all the nervousness.

It was indeed appreciatable that she took the first step. I was reluctant and indeed nervous but when she took the step all my miseries and questions faded away and left me with tranquillity.

"Let's cut the cake. Come on!" Michael roared loudly making me shake my head with a chuckle due to my uncontrollable imagination about the kiss.

I took Jessy's hand and kissed it while she smiled shyly. We all moved downstairs and started the cake cutting process.

I was so happy and the main reason was Jessy. She was the ultimate reason for my happiness. I knew we took this step really soon but the sooner the better. And I had the premonition that in no time we would be falling in love.

I lost all hope in loving someone but Jessy provoked the love sick guy from inside me by her disposition.

Love is indeed beautiful. Experience it more than once and then you will realise that love is not just an illusion. It is the best feeling and the most authentic. And once you find the missing piece don't wait just go for it.

Jessy:

"Happy Birthday Luis!" We all sang in rythm as Luis blew the candles. He took a slice of the cake and moved it towards me. I took a small bite and kissed him on the cheek. He smiled at me and licked the cake from the side of my bottom lip. I blushed while others laughed.

We all laughed as Michael and Jordan started reciting a story from their summer holidays in junior years. I couldn't stop laughing as they told us how Michael was caught by the principal while running in the corridors of their high school.

"There's someone on the door asking for you Mr. Jordan." The watchman said and left without another word.

"Did you invite someone else?"Michael inquired looking at Jordan.

"No!" He replied with a puzzled expression.

Jordan walked outside while we waited. When it took more than ages for Jordan's return, we all rushed towards the gate.

From a distance it became obvious that the person was a girl. The girl and Jordan were in each other's arms, hugging tight. The girl had curly hair just like our Bobby. Finally the girl moved back and I stared studded towards her. The couple started kissing like Romeo and Juliet as if meeting after years.

I and Kate stared at each other in horror as we realised that the girl was Bobby.
