Benji’s POV

“Come on, Bennet! The others are already at the palace packhouse, waiting for us. What is taking so long?” I yelled through the front door of the No 9 apartment. A light drizzle of spring rain greeted us before the sun was up. I pulled up to Bennet’s place at 5:30pm to pick him up for our trip to the North. As usual he was running late.

After I made the decision to go to the North, I met with my team and discussed who would be going and who would stay for the trials. Since I had several nurses and medical technicians with families and children, I wanted my staff to decide if they wanted to go or not. Once the team was set in place, we worked out travel arrangements. We also decided to fly public transportation instead of the Blue Eclipse private plane. Bennet grumbled something about leg room and luxury, but I ignored him. Nothing wrong with business class; humans did it all the time.
