Emptiness

I was screaming in pain, clenching my heart but no voice came out. My voice had died in my throat, choking me.

I looked at my mate and made my way to him with all the strength left in my body. He was being repeatedly stabbed by the sliver dagger in hands of that devil. The whole scene was playing in front of me in slow motion. With each stab his body jerked up giving me an agonising pain, and with each stab the maniac laughed satisfying his filthy soul. I pushed him with all my might and slumped on ground taking my mate in my lap.

His whole body was trembling, blood oozing out from his heart. I placed my hands on his heart, an attempt to stop the blood flowing out. He looked at me, those grey orbs were losing its light and flame, flickering blue in between, still they hold undying love for me, with faint smile lingering on his lips, he caressed my cheeks smearing blood on them. I could smell death, feel death. He was trying to say something. I moved closer to him.
