Chapter 34

Amelia's pov.

I went back into the party and joined the other brides but I made sure to keep my eye on Isabelle, I already had Lucy to keep my eye on now this.

I wonder what she wants from me this time, obviously she can't take Alpha Damien. Maybe this time she'll take my life.

She always comes after things or people that I place in high regard.

But I definitely know how to settle scores with her this time.

She apologized but I could read through her sneaky eyes.

I definitely know what to do.

I immediately walked up to her, held her hand and she followed.

I introduced her to all the brides as my sister, everyone was pleased to meet her.

I could see the shock on her face but I continued.

I introduced her to several people and we all partied joyously.

The party soon drew to a fast close so I took Isabelle with me to a room close to mine.

"It has been empty for a while so it wouldn't hurt if you'd stay here." I said and smiled warmly to her.

I could see how shocked she was and at the same time surprised that I scolded her a few hours back and now I'm offering her a place to sleep.

I needed to keep my eye on her so that room was definitely the best place for someone like Isabelle.

Through my door I could see when she walks out or comes in.

I went back to my room to have a rest.

The event was a lot to handle so many shocking scenarios and so many guests.

I was glad I got to meet so many people even if most of them were giving me stern looks.

It was all worth it,finally I've been announced as the Luna now all that is left is the coronation to officially be tagged the Luna of the greatest werewolf pack.

Alpha Damien outdid himself tonight, I didn't get to see him after the party.

"I guess he was busy with his friends",I thought as I pulled off my jewelry.

I had my bath and slept off.

The dawn of a new day was here,the sun ray covered my fave from my window which I forgot to close last night because I was so tired.

I got up lazily and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

I got out of my room and knocked on Isabelle's room.

Knock…knock

The door opened and Isabelle was still in her robe.

"You need to get dressed and join us on the breakfast table" I said.

"I'll be there in a minute",she said with sleepy eyes.

"Don't make me find you Isabelle" I said and left to the dining room.

"Old habits never die down,do they" I thought.

Isabelle never ever gets up early ever since I moved in to live with her as a kid.

Her face was filled with surprise when I invited her to the breakfast table.

I have known Isabelle almost all my life and one thing I know quite well is how to get under her skin.

"Just play nice and watch her get loose and blurt out everything" that there was my plan.

I got to the table and took my sit amongst other brides.

Alpha Damien gestured for me to come sit right by him and I did as he instructed.

Just then Isabelle walked in and greeted everyone.

"Oh you're still here?" Lucy asked Isabelle.

"Yes she is still here,you have a problem with that?",I asked Lucy.

"All our guests left for their respective homes this morning so it's shocking to see one joining us on our breakfast table" Lucy said and took a bite from her food.

I definitely know Lucy is up to no good again. She obviously wants to ruin my morning but I won't give her that chance.

I was about to reply then Alpha Damien cut in.

"She's not just our guest Lucy,she is family," he said.

"How so?", Lucy asked.

"She is Amelia's sister and she's here for the week.You would have known all this if you actually focus on family related issues and not yourself all the time" he said and returned back to his food.

Everyone was quiet even Luther did not say a word it was as if he didn't notice any of the things happening on the table.

He didn't even greet me as I walked into the dining room like the rest.

I wonder what is wrong with him,I guess he now finally realizes that nothing could happen between us.

I stared at Lucy and I could see how angry she looked while eating her food.

All I really want is to show her how power feels like, being good to her always pisses her off.

I know she hates the ground I walk on,now seeing me in this position is a slap to her ego and I loved it, seeing her helpless made my day even much better.

It is always a nice feeling seeing someone who snatched everything from you feel disappointed and embarrassed.

I stared at her,then Lucy. These two are my targets right now and I need to keep an eye on both of them. I can't afford to let them slip out of my sight.

We finished at the table then I went back to my room to continue my sleep because I have never stayed up so late like I did last night.

Then I heard a knock at the door,I opened it and it was Luther.

I ushered him into the room but he refused.

"I'll be damned if I step my foot into your room Amelia."

"Why is Isabelle here?" He asked.

"What do you mean by that?she is my sister?" I replied.

"You can't just bring random people into my father's palace as you please young lady!" He yelled,his face red with anger.
