I watched as Lucy stormed off from the kitchen and onto the hallway.
The sound of her heels were heard across the walls.
Just then Alpha Damien wrapped his arms around me from the back and I could feel his body pressed to mine.
"You complete me, Amelia",he said his voice as charming as ever.
My cheeks were so red,the more I tried to hide and fight the blush from spreading across my face the more it grew.
I turned to him staring deep into his eyes,we were in that position for some seconds not saying anything just staring.
"Why didn't you scold me Alpha" I said and wrapped my hamds around his neck as I watched him stare at me lustfully.
"I've been a bad girl lately and I know you would have hit anyone that talks to Lucy in that manner" I continued.
"A bad girl,No."
"My bad girl,Yes." He said and narrowed his gaze through my body.
"You can do as you please around here Amelia,I love to see you stand up for yourself"
"I love to see that burning fiery look on your eyes." He said.
He carried me up to the kitchen sink and we shared a passionate kiss.
"I have an event to plan,he said and turned to leave but my arms held his tightly.
"You still haven't let the cat out of the bag,what is this event all about?",I asked my face filled with concern.
"You're a fiesty one aren't you",he said staring at my hand which was on his.
I immediately pulled away staring at him.
"I am sorry Alpha Damien,I got carried away",I said.
"Shh,don't apologize I am not angry,you are the only one permitted to hold me that tight anyway" he said and smiled at me.
For a moment I was shooked at how satisfactory his words were and how much love I could see through his eyes.
"As much as I'll love to tell you what tomorrow's event is about I just can't,Be patient and you'll soon find out" he said and made his way out of the kitchen.
I went back to my chair at the kitchen table and continued with my snack.
After I was done I went back to my room to take my regular siesta when I had a knock on my door.
"Who is there!?", I said in anger as I wasn't one to cut my sleep halfway.
"It is Luther",the voice said.
I quickly jumped out of my bed and hurried my way to the door and opened it as fast as I could.
He let out a hearty smile as our faces met."May I come in?" He said.
"Sure,come in",I ushered him in.
"About last night I am really sorry I shouldn't have touched you that way or come into your room in the first place. I just didn't know what came over me.I gave it a thought and I sincerely regret my actions",he stated.
"I was afraid of losing you,the fear of losing you was driving me nuts and I just had to say something because I had it up to here"he said, gesturing at his throat.
"I got so angry and did what I did I apologize,I realize that you are my father's bride but I just can't help myself whenever you are around me",he rubbed his hands around his hair in a frustrated way."
I watched as he explained and explained himself I was stunned and didn't know what to say to him.
"But you are just one of my father's bride and not his mate," he added.
"What did you just say to me Luther?" I retorted.
I walked up to him.
"I thought you came here,to my room to apologize and understand that you are in the wrong to think that anything will happen between the both of us.But I can see that you don't understand what me and Alpha Damien share."
"I am his mate!"
"I am his bride!"
"And very soon I'll be his Luna!",I barked at his seemingly angry face.
"He can't have you as his Luna Amelia."
He said and made his way out of my room.
I went to my bed and thoughts flew into my mind from all corners.
"What have I gotten myself into?"
"All I ever wanted was true love and that is what Alpha Damien has for me why is Luther making things hard for me"
"Why is it such a hard pill to swallow on his end that I am for Alpha Damien and him alone."
"Why does he keep bringing this issue to me?"
All these questions raced through my mind, questions I don't have answers to.
The room felt too hot so I went to the rooftop for some fresh air.
I raised my arms and loosened my hair that was tied.The wind was marvelous, I stared at the moon as it casted it glow on the trees making them have a slight sparkle on their leaves.
The night was indeed beautiful. I stared down just then I felt a touch on my shoulder.I turned around in shock but it was Luther again.
"What do you want this time Luther?" I said.
"I just want some fresh hair,you look really beautiful tonight",he said.
"What is the occasion tonight?",he added.
"Nothing is happening tonight this is how I look every night" I said and turned my gaze to the beautiful trees.
"Oh then I would love to see you every night then,I never knew you look breathtaking,even at night" he added and smiled.
My cheeks instantly turned red.
" You are good with your words Luther,you should write a book" I said to him
"What can I say I'm a charmer"he said while adjusting the collar of his cloth
I smiled and looked towards the garden only to see Alpha Damien staring at both of us, his arms crossed.
