Isla’s POV

The minute the taxi pulled up in front of me. I rushed inside, slamming the door quickly.

“Whoa, slow down, miss!” The driver said in an alarming tone. “Getting that repaired would cause a fortune.”

“I’m sorry.” I said, easing into the back seat of the car. I looked out of the window hoping I wouldn’t see any sign of Dario.

“Where are you heading to miss?” The sound of the driver’s voice caused me to look in his direction.

“The 7th Street.” He nodded, and I looked outside the window.

“Do you think, it is actually Dario?” Nima’s voice stirred within my head.

“Who else could it be?”

“You know he isn’t the only wolf that can track you.“

“I’m aware of that, and I’m also aware of the fact that. He’s the only person who knows about my father’s business. He has also partnered with the people my father did business with.” I said firmly. “He knows that I’m here. Probably, he even has sources informing him about my whereabouts.”

“And what of it It isn’t Dario?” Nima asked once again
