Isla’s POV

I woke up the next day and discovered that Dario was nowhere in sight. I decided to go in search of him, but immediately I stood up from the bed. I felt the urge to throw up.

I threw my hands up in disbelief. Now that I knew the reasons behind my morning sickness I realised that it had come to stay. Now, I just had to learn to live with it.

I put a hold on my thoughts, as the feeling of nausea increased. I rushed to the bathroom, and just a tiny drop of liquid spilled from my lips.

I decided to brush my teeth. Immediately I was done, I headed out of the room. I went in search of Dario afterwards and the first place that I went searching for him was in his study.

I could feel his scent when I arrived at the door, but the minute I stepped in. I realized he wasn’t there. Where could he have gone? I muttered to myself.
