103. "A force?"

Dario’s pov

I couldn’t feel Isla’s presence again. I groaned, turning to the path I had came all the way from. It was deserted, I decided to walk backwards , hoping I would feel her presence and get a hold of her scent sadly I didn’t.

I was fed up, but I didn’t allow my feelings to take over. I tried to reach Kai and at the call of his name. He responded without hesitation.

“I can’t feel her anymore.” I said in a panic tone. “Can you feel Nima?”

“I can’t, it’s like there’s a force shielding me from reaching her.”

“A force?” I said in a shocking tone.

“Yea, a force. It’s like this aura. It’s strange I can’t explain it.”

“I know this is crazy talk Kai, but I feel that force might be where Isla is?”

“How sure are you?” He said.

“A while ago we could feel her and now we can’t. Dario this simply means we are on the wrong path we need to leave.”

“We can’t Kai,” I said boldly. “For the past few days, I have doubted myself now. I have a strong belief in this. Could you at-least trust me?
