Chapter 5

(PRIMROSE POV)

Before, i finally went home to the apartment, i went to a convenience store to buy something i could eat. I would have paid if my eyes had caught a creature in the corner of the store.

Whether he wears shades is i can still see the way he is staring at me.

Terrifying.

What is he doing here?

After i paid, i immediately left and ignored his presence. He can't smell that person on me. It's dangerous for Youhe's life. I accelerated my walk when i felt his presence behind me.

But i was only able to keep him away for a moment as he was able to enter my brain. I felt pain there until i heard the his voice was terrifying. I just let go of the plastic i was holding and fell to the side of the road because of sickness. I was gripped by my senses and forced to fight the pain. Someone stood next to me and asked if i was okay.

“Miss, are you okay? do you want help?" but i couldn't answer him because of my severe headache. I just felt his presence close to me.

"I'm with her. Go away. I'll take care of her." I saw the man's hesitation in what Luke said.

"Miss, is what he says true? i can take you to the hospital." My head ached even more because of Luke's growing anger at this man.

I forced myself to open my eyes and nod at the man. Before leaving he first stared at Luke. When he got away, he supported me on my feet. I wanted to remove his hands from my arm but i was getting too weak because of power he uses on me.

"Lucas, stop this. I'm already hurting." Insistent i whispered that he never listened to me again. I just felt like i stood up to paved road as he was able to lift me up.

"Punish that, dear princess. I can smell the man on you. What did he do to your body?" he said tearfully. I just leaned over my aching who headed to his handsome chest and remained closed -eyed. It's not as painful as before but i'm very weak.

"I don't know, dear prince. Why are you here?" i don't know where we are but i know he will take me to the apartment where i'm staying.

"Let's talk later. I don't want that person to smell on you." I didn't speak until we got to my room. He landed me on my bed and there i just felt that my head was back to normal but there was still pain left. The power he can afford explode the skull of any creature. I can't believe he did this to me. I'm the dear princess and her only sister.

"Don't cry. Take a bath and cleanse your body." I wiped away my tears and bad he looked up. He was just leaning against the kitchen counter and didn’t seem to care that he was able to hurt me. The heir to the throne is a heartless creature.

I followed him and went to the bathroom. But even before i could close the door, Luhan arrived just in time with a worried face. He looked at me and was even more upset to see me crying.

"What happened?" he was about to approach me when he felt my brother's presence.

"Dear prince." He paid his respects to her at first but after a while his gaze deepened.

"What did you do to the dear princess?"

"I just did what i should have done especially since her body smelled of human. Isn't it father and mother trust you that you will be able to protect my sister? but she was already able to be touched by someone. You're a blasphemer!" he said. I was angry at my brother’s voice and like mine earlier, he also used Luhan, his power but worse than mine. Immediately collapsed Luhan's body on the floor.

"Dear prince, don't do this to my friend!" i cried. I hugged Luhan when i saw how hard he was to bear the headache caused by my brother.

"He should only be punished for his negligence." I looked at Luke in tears and like me he looked at me badly too.

In my rage, i also used my power on him. Moments later, he knelt on the floor and writhed in excruciating pain as he felt the whole thing

his body. He is also slowly losing control of his torture of Luhan.

“Dear princess, you shouldn't do that to the prince. Stop that!" Luhan stopped me, but i didn't listen to him. No one could hurt my friend. He was the only one i had sympathy with all my life that even my whole family didn't do that to me.

"No one can hurt, Luhan. No one, even you're my prince and my brother so i won't repay you, Luke. The creature you hurt is more important to me than the same blood that runs through our whole being." I just felt my eyes turn red because of the extreme anger i was feeling.

"Is this what you learned during your stay in the world of humans? then you must go back intoour kingdom. You’re a stupid princess!" i didn’t listen to him and continued to torture him. I can only get revenge on my headache that he did.

Moments later, Luhan came in front of me and both were covered by his cold hands my cheek. He caught my eyes causing me to lose focus on Luke. I heard her loud moans but i did not understand him.

I seemed to weaken so i fell into Luhan's arm. He hugged me and stroked my hair.

"That's enough, dear princess. I don't want to be the reason you two break up."

"I don't want anyone to hurt you, Luhan. I can't bear to see you hurt." I cried as i hugged him tightly.

"I understand, dear princess." We were in that position for a while before i face my brother who was still sitting on the floor, very tired of me torturing him. If he could blow up a skull, i would be able to torture the creature until the it's whole body.

"I'll clean my body first, Luhan." He nodded at me.

I resumed my bath. When i finished, i found the two of them having coffee at the counter. They both turned their backs on me, so that's why i can getting dressed. I haven't figured out yet to fix  my hair was wet and i sat down next to Luhan. Luke was both in front of us very serious. He wouldn't come here if it wasn't so important

he will reveal.

"What brought you here, brother?" he looked at me badly when i mentioned the word brother.

"Do you have the courage to mention that i'm your brother after the stupid thing you did?" i just didn't understand that and sipped the hot coffee that Luhan mixed for me.

"I have come to inform you that our kingdom is once again under threat against wolves. The kingdom of Estava." I was no longer surprised by this news. Our races have always been rivals. But the kingdom really is Estava, we are not get along well.

The kingdom of wolves split in two after the honor my grandfather did. The wolves sided with us and were able to forgive us when our grandfather lived in the forest of Haria. And the other wolf who did not agree to peace of the two races made their own kingdoms.

And that is exactly the kingdom of Estava that we still consider enemies.

"They threatened father and mother that they would not last long. They want you to come back father to help us with possibility of war and so that we can protect you in case they kill you here." I was silent for a moment and played with the mouth of the cup i was drinking.

"The human body of wolves is much stronger than our vampires when we are in the world of humans. So if they come here to kill you there is a good chance that you will be wiped out of whatever world you are in. They can kill you here."

"But i can protect her," stained by the gaze of Luke, when Luhan answered the conversation.

"You haven't been able to take him away from that person, from a less -than -ordinary creature?" Luke said patiently. Luhan just nodded and no longer spoke.

“Is there a hint that they’re going to do big war?" i asked him frowning.

"So far there are none. But all our warriors are being trained by fathers to be ready. Ultimately children are taught to fight for able to protect oneself. They're just a children and nobody knows what would be happen next." He shook his head frustration before sipping his coffee.

"Then give me three months and i will return to our kingdom." I no doubt assured him that he sighed.

"Are you going to spend those three months for that person? he's not destined for you, Rose. I'm just reminding you." My fist resting on my thigh clenched as the grumpy drew he grinned.

"By the way, i must leave now." He stood up and first wiped the edge of his lip with the table napkin. Before he walked away, he turned to me again.

“I'll just send an owl to deliver the letter that i will inform you. And one more thing, when you return to our kingdom, they will never let you, our father, to come back you here to the world of human. Just tell me if you ask for a few more months, just be with that person. Is he good at warming the cold bodies of our vampires?" teased the smile on his lips.

Full of disgust i stared into his eyes and without hesitation i broke the cup i was holding, because of the tightness of my grip on it. Even more so

his grin widened as his eyes moved to my bleeding palm.

"I'm glad to see you're annoyed with me, sister. I'm coming, dear princess. You won't be happy with that person so just stay away from him now." He said seriously before quickly reaching the door and exiting. To my great annoyance i took my brother's empty cup and threw it to somewhere.

I heard it break after it hit the wall.

I just screamed and combed my hair. Later, i just felt Luhan's hand, touching my wrist. He took me on the sink and let the water flow into my bleeding palm.

When our eyes met i couldn’t help but calm down. He is the only one who can do this to me whenever i'm inflamed with anger.

"There's nothing you can do to lose, dear princess. Don't let the prince's words have an effect on you because he's totally into it, pleased." He took a thin cloth and wrapped it in my hand. I just sat on the stool of the counter because of my weakness.

Luhan just stood in front of me, while adjusting his binding to the cloth he rolled in my hand. I have long wondered why this creature is no longer destined for me. Why not just Luhan?

I would rather love him than anyone else.

"Tears," he turned to me as i called his name. Gradually, i looked down on his lips. I was not aware that the i face him and i'm eady to kiss him.

"Rose, you're out of your mind. You need to rest." I was delayed in approaching him when i heard what he said. I just bowed because of shame. I just felt like i was lifting mine sat until my back rested on the soft mattress. Luhan's eyes had no emotion as he looked at me.

"I am not destined for you, dear princess. Forgive me." He arranged my hair covering my face and kissed my forehead.

"Luhan, why not just you? i'd rather you be with me forever." I gripped his arm as he walked away in front of me.

“You can be with me for life, Rose. As your best friend. That's all i can give you. Also, this is also the word i left to my dear king and queen. I will be protect you for the rest of my life." I tightened my grip on his arm because of the fact i could hear her.

"Can you stay by my side until i fall asleep?" he just nodded and lay down next to me. He lifted the blanket up to half of mine body. When he lay down next to me, i hugged him and made his handsome chest a pillow. I’m inferior to him so he can’t see my face. Even the tears forming in my eyes.

I'm a princess and a noble. Powerful and most powerful of all. But i don't get what i want. But what i don't like is what i want get, is can't never be mine. Like the freedom i have long sought.

Is it a sin to ask for my freedom? why, i feel like i've been confined my whole life?

I felt his hand caress my hair again. I was slowly closing my eyes because of what he was doing.

"Don't leave me, Luhan."
